✝️ Lord, remember me when You come into Your Kingdom!
O Jesus, through Your Holy Wounds, heal the wounds of my soul. Through Your Precious Blood, wash away my indifference. Through Your final breath, give life to my spirit.
I look upon Your head, crowned with thorns. I offer You my pride, my wandering thoughts, and my anxieties. May the blood that fell from Your brow wash over my mind, bringing a peace that the world cannot give. Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.
I look upon Your hands, pierced by nails - the same hands that healed the blind, multiplied the bread, and blessed the children. Forgive me for the times I have used my hands for selfish ends or held onto things too tightly. Teach me to stretch out my arms as You did, in a gesture of total self-offering.
I look upon Your side, opened by the soldier’s spear. From this fountain of love, Blood and Water flowed forth for the life of the world. Hide me, O Lord, within this wound. Let Your Sacred Heart be my refuge when I am lonely, my strength when I am weak, and my home when I feel lost.
I look upon Your feet, fastened to the wood. You walked the dusty roads of Galilee to find the lost, and You climbed the hill of Calvary to find me. Grant me the grace to follow You faithfully, even when the path is steep and the shadows grow long.
Lord, You gave everything. You held nothing back. In this mystery of the Crucifixion, I see the depth of my worth and the height of Your love. As I leave this place of prayer, let the image of Your sacrifice remain imprinted on my soul. Help me to carry my own cross with patience and to see Your face in all those who suffer.
🙏 Into Your hands, Lord, I commend my spirit.
Amen.
