MASBATE PRINCIPAL SAYS SORRY TO DIOKNO, CENDAÑA, FALCIS OVER SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS

DIMASALANG National High School principal Randy Emmanuel Bulanon apologized to Reps. Chel Diokno and Perci Cendaña and Jesus Falcis over social media posts and reposts that drew criticism for their controversial content.

In a statement on Monday, Bulanon admitted that he had erred and apologized to the individuals and groups who may have been offended by his posts, as well as to the Department of Education and the school he heads.

“As a school head, I fully recognize that my words, actions, and social media activities may be perceived as reflective not only of myself as an individual but also of the position and institution I represent,” he said.

TEACHING SUPPLIES ALLOWANCE JUMPS TO P10,000 AS BBM ADMIN RAISES BENEFITS

| The Marcos administration has raised virtually every teacher allowance to historic highs, with the chalk or teaching allowance jumping from ₱500 to ₱10,000 and the Step Revenue Increment bonus reaching the maximum ₱20,000 for two consecutive years for the first time in history.

Teacher Mariane Luchavez, who experienced the raised benefits herself, confirmed this on DZRH News program "Special on Saturday."

She said her fellow teachers also received increases in their clothing allowance, medical allowance, and year-end bonuses, transforming the financial reality for public school teachers nationwide.
