Welcoming the Lunar New Year with purpose, unity, and service. 🧧✨

Last February 21, 2026, the Rotary Club of Constitution Hill–Bagong Sandigan came together for a meaningful club meeting and Chinese New Year celebration, an afternoon filled with planning, inspiration, and fellowship.

As we prepare for our upcoming projects, especially the Interact District Conference 2026, we are reminded that every plan we make carries the hope of creating real impact in the communities we serve. 💛

We were also deeply inspired by Past President Jules Chanco, whose stories and experiences in Rotary reminded us of the true value of service, leadership, and the joy of making a difference. His words continue to guide and motivate us as we move forward together.

More than discussions and plans, it was a time of connection—strengthening friendships, sharing laughter, and celebrating the spirit that unites us as Rotarians.

A new year, a renewed commitment to serve. 💛

Last January 9, 2026, the Rotary Club of Constitution Hill–Bagong Sandigan came together not just for our regular meeting, but for a meaningful New Year gathering filled with reflection, planning, and genuine connection.

As we looked back on our completed projects, we celebrated the impact we’ve made, embraced our learnings, and committed to doing even better for the communities we serve. With hearts aligned, we also mapped out the path ahead, strengthening our mission of service and sustainability for the months to come.

But beyond the plans and discussions, what truly made the day special were the moments we shared laughter, stories, and the warmth of fellowship. These are the bonds that keep us united, inspired, and ready to serve together.

United We Lead: Interact District Conference 2026

Last March 21, the Rotary Club of Constitution Hill–Bagong Sandigan proudly hosted the Interact District Conference 2026 at PSSLAI Corporate Center, Cubao, bringing together around 250 Interactors and advisers from various schools.

Anchored on the theme “United We Lead,” the conference celebrated the impactful community service projects and leadership initiatives of our young leaders, reinforcing the Rotary value of Service Above Self.

The event featured two inspiring leadership speakers: Atty. Aly Dela Cruz, Sr. Associate Lawyer, Rotarian, and AFP Reservist, who shared valuable insights on leading with empathy and becoming a servant leader through active listening and a deep understanding of others; and Mr. Joshua Santos, COO of Traxion Tech Inc. and an advocate of Fintech, Blockchain, and AI, who inspired participants on how technology shapes modern leadership.

The conference was also filled with energy and creativity as Interactors showcased their talents in Interact Got Talent 2026.

Truly, an inspiring and memorable event, proving that our youth are ready to lead with passion, purpose, and innovation. 💙

HEARTLine: Helping Educators Act with Resilience and Trust

Last February 21, the Rotary Club of Constitution Hill–Bagong Sandigan successfully conducted a one-day mental health training at Celebrity Club, Quezon City, participated by 13 educators from various schools.

The HEARTLine Project aims to equip educators with essential mental health first aid skills, helping them recognize early signs of emotional distress and respond appropriately. Through interactive discussions, workshops, and real-life role-playing scenarios, participants were able to understand possible situations they may encounter in school and practice how to respond with empathy, care, and confidence.

Despite the full-day session, the training remained engaging and meaningful, with active participation from all attendees. We are proud to support our educators in becoming stronger advocates of mental wellness and in helping build safer, more supportive school environments. 💙

Kaloob Dunong: Suporta sa Edukasyon ng Sitio Cucong

Last February 14, the Rotary Club of Constitution Hill–Bagong Sandigan revisited the Sitio Cucong Child Development Center in Doña Remedios Trinidad, Bulacan to continue our commitment in supporting early childhood education through bookshelves, books, learning materials, and toys. all aimed at promoting effective early childhood education.

What truly warmed our hearts was seeing the children who were once mahiyain now become lively, joyful, and confidently playing with the Rotarians. 💛 The afternoon was highlighted by shared meals, interactive games, and storytelling sessions as we also celebrate the Birthday of our President-Elect Kathelyn Dela Cruz.

From a once simple and meek daycare center with only basic tables and storage, it has now evolved into a vibrant and beautiful learning space. Filled with slides, interactive toys, and happy laughter.

Moments like these remind us that small acts of service can create lasting impact.

Ending polio takes all of us. 💛 On October 24, 2025, our Rotary Club joined forces with the Clubs of Region 5, Rotary International District 3780, to open an interactive booth that combined fun games with meaningful advocacy for Rotary’s End Polio initiative.

Through engaging activities and conversations, we raised awareness about how close the world is to eradicating polio, and how every contribution still matters. Beyond the smiles and laughter, the booth served as a reminder that collective action saves lives. Together, we continue pushing forward until polio is gone for good.

The Christmas spirit came early for our Rotary family. 🎄✨ On November 28, 2025, our Rotary Club gathered for our Christmas Party alongside our Regular Club Meeting. An evening filled with laughter, gratitude, and shared purpose. Beyond the festivities, the meeting served as a crucial platform to align members on our upcoming signature project, PINTAKASI 2025, reaffirming our collective commitment to service.

Over good food, fun games, and a heartfelt gift exchange, friendships were strengthened, and spirits lifted. It was a joyful reminder that while service is our mission, fellowship is our foundation. Nights like these fuel our passion to serve more meaningfully together.

Fellowship is the heart of Rotary. 🌕✨ On October 18, 2025, the Rotary Club of Constitution Hill–Bagong Sandigan gathered for our October Club Meeting and annual Moon Cake Festival, a night filled with laughter, connection, and shared traditions.

Beyond project updates and club matters, members enjoyed a delightful dinner and bonded over the much-loved moon cake dice game, complete with friendly competition and prizes. It was a joyful evening that strengthened friendships, celebrated togetherness, and reminded us that strong fellowship fuels meaningful service. Truly a night to remember.

Talent knows no boundaries when given the right platform. 🎨✨ On December 13, 2025, the Rotary Club of Constitution Hill-Bagong Sandigan, together with 14 co-host Rotary Clubs and the Rotary International District 3780, successfully conducted PINTAKASI 2025: Pinagkaisang Talento at Kahusayan sa Sining, an inter-school arts, culture, and skills competition for public senior high school students.

With 150 students from 16 public schools competing in Poster Making, Table Setting, Hair and Makeup Artistry, and Street Dancing, the event showcased creativity, discipline, and cultural pride. Guided by respected and multi-awarded judges, the competition proved that public school students are more than capable of excellence when given opportunity and encouragement. PINTAKASI was not just a contest; it was a celebration of confidence, unity, and the limitless potential of our youth.

Strategy, discipline, and passion took center stage on November 30, 2025, as our Rotary Club proudly co-hosted the Grand Master Eugene Torre Chess Cup with the Rotary Club of Sta. Mesa. Held at P. Bernardo Elementary School, the event gathered 140 chess players who showcased remarkable focus and sportsmanship across highly competitive matches.

Watching young talents and ranked players compete was truly inspiring. The presence of Grand Master Eugene Torre, who personally awarded signed chess sets along with cash prizes and certificates to the top players, made the event even more memorable. Beyond trophies and titles, the tournament celebrated critical thinking, perseverance, and the joy of learning, values that resonate deeply with Rotary’s mission.

On November 29, 2025, the Celebrity Club and the Rotary Club of Constitution Hill–Bagong Sandigan, in partnership with the UP Women Lawyers’ Circle, UP School of Economics Alumni Association, and UP Concert Chorus Alumni Association, successfully conducted a free public forum titled “To Flood or Not to Flood.”

Led by our Honorary Member and President of the Celebrity Club, Atty. Dot Gancayco, the forum featured Former Justice Antonio Carpio, Congressman Chel Diokno, and economist Alexander Escucha, who courageously examined issues of corruption and governance failures that led to the infamous flood control scandal.

With around 200 engaged participants, the forum served as a meaningful space for learning, reflection, and open dialogue—empowering citizens with facts and strengthening the call for accountability. While the discussions were sobering, they reaffirmed a vital truth: informed and engaged communities are essential to building a just, transparent, and resilient nation.
