Expect a taxonomy of specimens rarely seen in the wild, from those that challenge your attention, to tests of rhythm and cadence, to introspective narratives about culture and society. These range from polished great works to beginner productions whose rough edges form their identity.

The DevelUP Game Jam is in full-swing but that doesn't mean we don't have a few more surprises on our comically overstuffed bags: we're revealing our last two judges, two alums hailing from DevelUP itself, Vaccaria and Aljo!

I'm Vaccaria, a hobbyist game dev that goes on/off the scenes trying to make nonsense for the thrill of it. What sparked my passion for programming came from my want to become a game dev, which is now my current goal after graduating from college with a bachelor's degree on Computer Science. I've already made a few games under my belt, and eager to make more in the long run.

Aljo is a psychometrician who did a barrel roll into an IT masters. In his three years as a DevelUPer, he learned game programming (instead of writing papers), submitted in 10 game jams (with many more "WIP's", of course), managed games with larger teams (such as "Watermarked" by Cult of the Baddie, where this jam's art comes from), had games presented in fairs and conventions, and was Intel VP for a year. In his downtime, he mostly rocks out on guitar, hoards books, and plays long JRPG's.
