𝗙𝗜𝗟𝗟 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗣𝗔𝗖𝗘.

Coffee shops and malls ought to be third places, but they aren't. Not every “tambayan” feels open, warm, or human. A real third place is where conversation happens naturally, where people stay without pressure, where community can exist outside of home and work.

These places matter. They remind us that rest, connection, and belonging should not be luxuries.

The Philippines 🇵🇭 deserves more spaces that let people simply be. Find them. Support them. Build more of them with us. 🚪🌳

Hindi mo kailangang gumastos nang malaki para magkaroon ng lugar na puwedeng tambayan. 🧘‍♀️

Mula QC hanggang Makati, may mga third places sa Metro Manila na puwedeng puntahan nang libre, para huminga, maglakad, makipagkwentuhan, o basta magpahinga saglit mula sa pagod ng araw-araw.

Marami ngang sikat na mga pasyalan o tambayan, pero bakit kaya may bayad? 🥱 Tinanong namin ang mga tao kung ano ba talaga ang “third places,” ano’ng hinahanap nila rito, at kung sapat ba ang mga libre at accessible na espasyo sa Metro Manila.🌿

Kasi minsan, kailangan lang na’tin ng isang lugar na BUKAS—bukas para tumambay, huminga, at makaramdam ng community. 🫂

It's a goodnews for us na dumadami ang mga parks sa Pinas! This is just the start of more accessible and free third places.✨😌

Parks are hard enough to come by in Metro Manila. In Pasig, where some communities live right by flood-prone waterways, the city is trying a different approach: build the park where there is still space left—on the water. Link at the comment section!
