QCU FRESHMAN ORIENTATION A.Y. 2026–2027
A new chapter begins at Quezon City University.
The University warmly welcomes its incoming freshmen to the Freshman Orientation for Academic Year 2026–2027, a university-wide activity designed to help our new students become familiar with QCU, its academic community, student services, offices, and the opportunities available throughout their college journey.
The orientation will be conducted from 8:00 AM to 12:00 Noon on the following dates:

A Warm Welcome to the Newest QCians!
Yesterday, QCU San Bartolome warmly welcomed its newest QCians through the Freshmen Walk, marking the beginning of a new and meaningful chapter in their academic journey.

The event was attended by University officials, faculty members, and student leaders, who came together to extend their warmest welcome and support to the incoming freshmen as they begin their journey at Quezon City University.

Highlighting the program was the inspiring welcome address of QCU President Dr. Theresita V. Atienza, who challenged the freshmen to make their college years meaningful and impactful by embracing the values of sustainability, entrepreneurship, responsible financial management, and the purposeful use of technology.

Dr. Atienza emphasized that academic success should go hand in hand with social responsibility, innovation, and environmental stewardship. She encouraged the students to apply their education to real-world challenges and become active contributors to nation-building and community development.

QCU COLLEGE OF EDUCATION CELEBRATES THE 2ND PROFESSIONAL TEACHING CERTIFICATE COURSE COMPLETION CEREMONY

The Quezon City University (QCU) College of Education successfully held its 2nd Professional Teaching Certificate Course (PTCC) Completion Ceremony on July 17, 2026, at the QCU Auditorium. Inspired by the theme, “Empowering Future Educators: Advancing Excellence, Leadership, and Service in Teaching,” the event honored the achievements of aspiring educators who completed the program.

In her Welcome Remarks, QCU President Dr. Theresita V. Atienza underscored the vital role of teachers in shaping future generations. She encouraged the completers to become architects of potential, lead with empathy, and remain lifelong learners as they embark on their professional journey. She also reaffirmed QCU's belief that education is the ultimate equalizer and challenged the graduates to uphold the values of excellence, leadership, and service.

A highlight of the ceremony was the message delivered by Class Representative Martin Hipolito, who expressed gratitude to the University administration, faculty members, families, and fellow completers for their unwavering support. Speaking on behalf of the class, he reflected on their shared experiences and reaffirmed their commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of future learners.

The program concluded with Closing Remarks from Dr. Isagani M. Tano, who commended the completers for their dedication and perseverance. He encouraged them to carry forward the knowledge, values, and competencies gained through the program as they pursue excellence in the teaching profession.
