As the West Fairvians soar triumphantly high over the radiant, spectral colors of victory with their graduation on their Junior High School journey, the Interact Club of West Fairview High School would like to extend a heartfelt recognition for the successful completion of its outgoing Interact Club officers for the ๐—ฅ๐—ข๐—ง๐—”๐—ฅ๐—ฌ ๐—ฌ๐—˜๐—”๐—ฅ 2025 - 2026.

We would like to offer our valuable, tenfold gratefulness towards many esteemed personnel that guided, molded, and helped us lead the organization with integrity and diligence in commiting service above self.

First and foremost, we humbly thank our distinguished Club Adviser, Ms. Cherryl M. Hebrado, for her pliant and unwavering guidance in supervising the club throughout the Rotary Year. With remarkable dedication, she has consistently provided direction and encouragement, ensuring that each initiative and endeavor was carried out with purpose and integrity.

Our projects, transportation allowances, and registration fees were made possible, thanks to the uplifting spirits of the Presidents of our sponsoring Rotary Club, Rotary Club of Diliman Heights, Pres. Enrique Joaquin Apostol, Pres. Ronniel Donn, and Pres. Erwin Sison. Their empowering sponsorship in investing within the club's needs towards the everlasting mission of Rotary helped the club grow significantly, developing key attributes to leadership in exploration through Interact D3780's leadership academies to curate a project that's beneficial for the entire school.

We would also like to our partners, collaborators, and donors, whether recognized or unintentionally missed, we extend our warmest gratitude. Your generosity and support, in whatever form, have significantly contributed to the success of our endeavors. Please know that your efforts, seen or unseen, are deeply valued and appreciated.

As these Interactors finally depart from the home of West Fairvians, they carry with them not only the knowledge and skills they have cultivated, but also the enduring values of service, but also the enduring values of service, leadership, and compassion that will guide them in every path they choose to take.

The Interact Club of West Fairview High School has successfully attended the Interact district's final commencement of the event on this Rotary Year, the District Interact Conference 2026 (DISCON 2026), with a theme of "United We Lead" that was held at the Public Safety Savings and Loan Association Inc. (PSSLAI) Center on the 21st of March, year 2026, with the distinguished officers of the IaC of WFHS, namely, UFGP Christian Jude Fernandez, UFG Secretary James Bi-dam Aragao, UFG Public Image Mariz Del Monte, and UFG Treasurer Carla Mae Pascua attending the aforementioned convening.

The event showcased a variety of meaningful sessions as the end progresses on a successful conclusion, including The State of DIR Address (SODIRA) led by UFG District Interact Representative Jhemil Dery Lapuz, optimistic messages of esteemed Guest Speakers Atty. Aly Dela Cruz & Mr. Joshua Allen Santos, the long-awaited Interact Got Talent '26, the unification of UFG Presidents and District Interact Executive Committees (DIEC) in the District Interact Representative Elect. Election, the recognition and awarding of leadership awards to all Interact Clubs orchestrated by YSC Chivas Ayroso, and the Acknowledgement and Closing Remarks of District Interact Governor Ms. Veronica Yu.

Fortunately, the IaC of WFHS has garnered a SPECIAL CITATION Certificate for being an "Outstanding Club for Professional Development" in its collaborative seminar project with the Campus Integrity Crusaders titled "Through Harmony: NO to Cheating, NO to Toxicity", alongside with individual accolades, with our adviser, Ma'am Cherryl Hebrado, gaining the "Club Excellence Award", and UFGP Christian Jude Fernandez gaining 2 awards, gaining the "Illustrious Leadership Award" and "Club Leadership Excellence Award".

In culmination of the conference, the Interact Club of West Fairview High School not only demonstrated active participation but also reaffirmed its commitment to service, leadership, and unity. The experience provided valuable insights, strengthened camaraderie among fellow Interactors, and ignited a deeper sense of responsibility in carrying out impactful initiatives within the community. Truly, DISCON 2026 served as a meaningful platform for growth, collaboration, and inspiration for all attendees.

On behalf of the Interact Club of West Fairview HS, we, the committee of officers and representatives, are extending our most gracious appreciation and thankfulness to the key scaffolds that curated us, with our adviser Ms. Cherryl Hebrado, together with the Presidents of our sponsoring club, Pres. Ronniel Donn, Pres. Joaquin Enrique Apostol, and Pres. Erwin Sison, for granting us the needed registration fees, transportation allowances, and the financial support for the projects.

As the Rotary Year 2025-2026 draws to a close, the knowledge, memories, and connections gained from this remarkable event will continue to guide and empower the club in its future endeavors. IaC UFG Lead Historian Cassandra Collins, IaC UFG Public Image Ma. Mariz Del Monte, and IaC UFG Gr.9 Representative Alysah Domadalug successfully defended the Midyear Report of the Interact Club of West Fairview High School at the Audio-Visual Room (AVR) of Ramon Magsaysay (Cubao) High School on January 31, 2026.

The Midyear Report highlighted the club's ongoing projects, most notably the "Project PAGBASA", which aim to help non-reading learners improve their literacy skills through after-class sessions, gradually strengthening their vocabulary step by step.

The delegates also successfully elaborated and presented the club's mission and vision to the distinguished panelists, further clarifying the club's goal under the guidance of IaC UFGP Christian Jude Fernandez.

We would like to extend our warmest gratitude to our Club Adviser, Ma'am Cherryl, and to the Presidents of our sponsoring club, Rotary Club of Diliman Heights Pres. Erwin S. Sison, Pres. Ronniel Donn, and UFG Pres. Enrique Joaquin Apostol-for generously providing the registration and transportation allowance that made this endeavor possible.

The Interact Club of West Fairview High School, as well as the Campus Integrity Crusaders - Wavians Integrity Knights (CIC-WIK) has successfully orchestrated a joint seminar session called "Through Harmony: NO to Cheating, NO to Toxicity" that happened on December 4, 2025 at the school grounds of West Fairview High School.

The seminar was divided into 2 sessions accordingly, with the first one being "Through Harmony: NO to Cheating, NO to Toxicity" that was led by our guest Speaker, Ms. Angel Arthemist M. Calvez, tackling on how we can improve our integrity through our academic endeavor, and the second one being "Netiquette and the Responsible Use of Artificial Intelligence" that was introduced by Mr. Jonel D. Alis, a teacher from the Mathematics department, that delves on how we can use Artificial Intelligence (AI) with proper moderation and how it is a fundamental scaffold in using it as a way to understand Math more simply.

The seminar happened alternately with grade levels 8-9 being sessioned on 9:00-11:00AM and grade levels 7-10 being sessioned on 1:00-3:00PM to avoid disturbance of classes.

The aformentioned event was held and introduced by the masters of ceremony from CIC - WIK in the morning session, CIC President Freya Ganancial and CIC Internal Vice President Alchris John Galia, and the masters of ceremony from Interact Club in the afternoon session, UFG President Christian Jude Fernandez and UFG Lead Historian Cassandra Collins, followed by the opening remarks of the CIC Adviser, Ms. Jennilyn Carballo and the inspirational messages of the Head Teacher of Math Department, Ms. Marissa Florentino and the Head Teacher of AP Department, Ms. Gretas Virtucio.

Introduction of the speakers were done by CIC Peace Officer Asza Fabra and UFG Vice President Beanise Joy Dungca, followed through by the sessions of the two speakers. Shortly after, a Question and Answer portion was introduced to the attendees, followed through by the Closing Remarks held by the Interact Club Adviser, Ms. Cherryl Hebrado and the handing out of Certificates of Participation to the attendees and Certificates of Recognition for the speakers.

We highly send out our profound graciousness and gratefulness by the never-tiring effort of our fellow Interact officers, as well as our fellow CIC - WIK officers, in organizing this joint collaboration. We also humbly thank the advisers of the both parties, Ms. Cherryl Hebrado and Ms. Jennilyn Carballo, in guiding us to execute and plan the concepts smoothly. With the ever-supporting dedication of our Councilor Joe Visaya and SPTA Officers sending out refreshments to the attendees in the morning session, and the handing out of financial assistance by the President of our sponsoring club, UFG President Mr. Enrique Joaquin Apostol, they have made this project a lot more successful.

And last but not the least, we kindly send out our gratefulness to the West Fairvians in attending our seminar session, gaining more knowledge in this type of discussion.

On October 25, 2025, the Interact Club of West Fairview High School successfully attended the annual Interact Leadership Academy (ILA) #1 & #2 hosted by the Interact Club of Jose P. Laurel High School and Rotary Club of Loyola Heights having IaC President Christian Jude S. Fernandez, and Grade 9 Representatives Mikhail Angel Diane Casas & Czarina Barrozo as attendees of the aforementioned event that was held at the Rotary D3780 Center, Quezon City.
The event was dissected into 2 mini-sessions, having ILA #1, led by Atty. Evecar B. Cruz-Ferrer, as a session in tackling about Personality Development (PerDev) and ILA #2, led by PDS Mr. Jesse Tanchanco, as a session tackling about the different types of leadership and the ideal type of leadership of Rotary.

The event included interactive participation integrated to fully immerse and encourage the delegates in exploring themselves as a person as part of self-development and self-awareness. It also introduced to us the types of leadership that are widely used in managing organizations and the most ideal type of leadership that embodies Rotary, which is "Servant Leadership".

The Interact Club of West Fairview High School has triumphantly attended the ๐——๐—œ๐—ฆ๐—Ÿ๐—”๐—ฆ 2025 (District Interact Learning Assembly 2025) hosted by the Interact Club of Bagong Silangan High School with the evergreen theme "Unite For Good", that took place on Quezon City Science High School Gymnasium, August 30.

The ๐——๐—œ๐—ฆ๐—Ÿ๐—”๐—ฆ 2025 included sessions, starting from the Processional March of newly elected IaC Presidents of their respective school Interact Clubs, followed by the Motivational Messages and Adjournment of key Rotary and Interact officials, namely Unite for Good District Interact Representative Jhemil Lapuz, Unite for Good District Governor of the D3780, Ms. Veronica Yu, Unite for Good President of the Rotary Club of Bagong Silangan, Ms. Jennifer Margaret Chanco, and many more.

Complementary meals were given alongside with food stubs that were strictly accessible by tearing apart the 3 divided meals: AM Meal, Lunch, PM Snack. Intermission numbers and the presentation of yells & chants were also introduced at the middle of the assembly.

Breakout rooms were followed after the aforementioned activities, evaluating the responsibilities and the values that each Interact officer and representative carries on their legacy in maintaining the resilience of change.

The event concluded on rewarding the Interact clubs with the most entertaining yell presented, and followed by the raffle, where our Gr. 9 Representative, Queen Ann Mopon, unexpectedly won!

The session highlighted the importance of every officers and how they can be more responsible and help effectively in building more efficient projects which will eventually lead to a better future. Along with the responsibilities that must be fulfilled as leaders.

We humbly thank our sponsoring club, The Rotary Club of Diliman Heights and UFG Pres. Enrique Joaquin O.
