The center will provide , locally accessible prosthetic limbs, fittings, rehabilitation services, and follow-up care for underprivileged members of our community.
This marks our second prosthetic mission. What makes it different is permanence: a structure and program rooted in the community, designed to remove travel, cost, and access barriers and to deliver continuous care. For individuals who have experienced limb loss, the journey toward recovery is often long and deeply personal. With this workshop now within the hospital, patients will have access to timely, customized prosthetic care close to home. This means shorter waiting times, continuous follow-up, and integrated rehabilitation support—from surgery to fitting, to therapy, and beyond. It allows us to provide care that is not only medical, but holistic and compassionate.

This partnership demonstrates how continued collaboration and innovation between healthcare institutions and civic organizations can create lasting, meaningful change.

Beyond restoring movement, the Prosthesis Center will also help restore livelihoods. It creates meaningful employment opportunities for skilled therapists, prosthetic technicians, and assembly specialists who will dedicate their expertise to crafting and fitting prostheses. In doing so, we are not only rebuilding lives—we are building careers, strengthening our local workforce, and contributing to the economic growth of our community. This initiative reflects a sustainable model of healthcare: one that heals patients while generating opportunities for professionals to serve and thrive.

"Bags of Hope, Beats of Joy"
A Basic Education and Literacy Project
For Tala Elem School and Tala High School

The donation drive included the turnover of snare drums to enhance the school’s music program, giving students the opportunity to explore discipline and creative expression. These snare drums are especially vital to the school’s identity, playing a key role in their anthem and symbolizing pride among the students. They are also essential for the school’s participation in musical competitions, where students showcase their talent, teamwork, and dedication.
Alongside these musical instruments, the Rotary clubs also distributed school bags and school supplies, ensuring that students are better equipped for their daily learning needs.
This collaborative effort between Rotary Club of Metro Novaliches Caloocan and their sister club, Jangheung Rotary Club of Korea symbolizes the spirit of global fellowship—transcending borders to make a tangible difference in the lives of young learners. Beyond the material support, the activity served as an inspiration to students, showing them that people from different parts of the world care about their growth and future.

May it offer calmness to those who are anxious, comfort to those who are weary, and hope to those beginning their journey toward recovery.

'Sama-Samang Paglilinis para Sa Pamanang Puno"
An Environmental Project by the
Rotary Club of Metro Novaliches Caloocan

For years, the area stood as a neglected scar on the landscape — a patch of land overwhelmed by heaps of garbage, broken furniture, plastic waste, and tangled weeds.

The Beginning of Renewal:
The transformation began with a collective decision: the space would no longer be defined by waste, but by renewal. Rotary Club of Metro Novaliches Caloocan coordinated a clean-up initiative. Garbage were removed. Recyclable materials were sorted.
As layers of refuse were cleared, the true contours of the land began to emerge. Sunlight reached soil that had not seen it in years— quiet evidence that nature had been waiting for a chance to return.

An Extraordinary Discovery:
During clearing, something remarkable was uncovered: the base of a massive, old tree trunk partially concealed by accumulated waste. As the surrounding debris was removed, its full stature came into view — a beautiful tree with a heritage tree plaque, long hidden but very much alive.

The transformation included:
* potted plants to add color and seasonal flexibility
* Gravel bedding
* Waterline
* Pest Control

The transformation is more than physical. It reflects responsibility, care, and rediscovery. Beneath layers of waste, there was always value waiting to be uncovered. Today, the space serves not as a reminder of neglect, but as a testament to renewal and respect for both nature and heritage.
