The Association of Filipino Prosthetists and Orthotists (AFPO) is hosting its 1st General Conference this September 27, 2025, at SEDA Vertis North Hotel! This pivotal event will highlight the Introduction of the Prosthetics and Orthotics Bill, a major step forward in shaping the future of the profession in the Philippines. 🦾✨

The event will feature key discussions with the industry’s professionals on the P&O Bill and the advancement of our industry! RSVP is a must, as no walk-ins will be allowed.

We are proud to support the Association of Filipino Prosthetists and Orthotists - AFPO towards developing the national standards and legal recognition of the Prosthetists and Orthotist Profession. We encourage stakeholders who are interested in supporting or providing inputs for this bill to join future discussions thru ISPO PH and AFPO.

What a week last week during the ISPO World Congress! Our member delegates came from different professions and practice in different institutions. This provided our organization with a more comprehensive perspective for our beloved P&O field.

We've presented various cases: for education, sports, fabrication techniques, upper limb outcomes during this congress and now we are driven to produce more for the upcoming meetings and the next World Congress in our South East Asian Neighbor, Thailand in 2027. In the next months, we will organize ECHO sessions for our members where we will share what we've learned and the technologies we were able to experience in the congress.

Our membership is open to EVERYONE who is aligned with ISPO's standards and we're looking to collaborate with more of our members in showcasing our capabilities as Filipino Healthcare professionals in the Prosthetics and Orthotics field.
