All praise and glory to GOD for His faithfulness to PSALM Metro Manila! 🙌

This August, we are grateful for the many opportunities GOD has given us to continue reaching students, building relationships, discipling leaders, and sharing the Gospel. From our Caring Circle Lessons with Wesleyan Youth, fellowship gatherings, District BOT Meeting, and LIFE Classes at PLMUN, we continue to see GOD at work in the campuses. 📖🌱

We praise GOD for every student, campus missionary, volunteer, leader, and ministry partner who continues to pray, serve, encourage, and partner with us in the Gospel. Your prayers and support are part of what GOD is doing in Metro Manila. 💚🙏

Every day, students step onto campuses carrying dreams, questions, pressures, and hopes for the future.

But in recent months, we have also seen how vulnerable our schools can be. Violence in and around campuses has taken young lives, wounded communities, and reminded us that students need more than a place to learn. They need safe spaces, caring relationships, godly guidance, and people who will walk with them through life.

This is why campus ministry matters.

Campus ministry is more than a program. It is the Church intentionally bringing the love and hope of Christ to where young people are, building relationships, making disciples, listening to their questions, praying with them, and pointing them to Jesus.

As we hear of violence affecting schools across the Philippines, may we not respond with fear alone, but with deeper prayer and greater commitment to the next generation.

May God raise up churches, campus workers, pastors, mentors, and young leaders who will faithfully make Christ known in every campus.

Every campus deserves a Gospel presence.

Because every student deserves the opportunity to know Jesus, encounter His love, and discover the hope found in Him.

We are saddened by the recent shooting incident at a high school in Zamboanga. We grieve not only the lives that were lost, but also the brokenness we see in a generation where lives are broken, values are deteriorating, and many young people are spiritually lost and searching for meaning, hope, and direction.

As PSALMistas, this tragedy reminds us why we remain committed to campus missions. We do not claim to have all the answers to the violence and struggles faced by students today, but we know the One who is their true hope, peace, and life: Jesus.

Many young people are carrying battles that may not always be seen. Behind the smiles and achievements are hearts searching for acceptance, purpose, hope, and someone who will listen.

Jesus came “to seek and to save the lost” (Luke 19:10). This is why we go to the campuses. Every student matters to God, and the Gospel brings hope to the broken, truth to those searching for direction, and life to those who are spiritually lost.

May this tragedy move us not only to mourn, but also to pray, reach out, and disciple. May God continue to use PSALM to shine the light of Christ on our campuses and point this generation to Jesus.

May we be the light that leads the lost to the One who came to seek and save them.

We praise GOD for every student reached, every leader equipped, every missionary strengthened, and every door He opened for us to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ. 📖🌱

The Lord Jesus Christ be praised for 57 years of His faithfulness in the ministry!🙌

Today we celebrate PSALM’s 57th Anniversary!
‎
‎For 57 years, God has been faithful to the Philippine Student Alliance Lay Movement, Inc. As we look back, we remember His grace, His provision, and His faithfulness in raising generations of students, campus missionaries, lay, and ministry partners who have committed their lives to the Great Commission.
‎
‎Our anniversary theme, IN HIS NAME, reminds us that everything we do is to be done in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
‎
‎“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” (Colossians 3:17)
‎
‎Today we thank God for every life transformed, every campus and marketplace reached, every disciple made, and every partner who has stood with the ministry through the years.

To GOD be all the glory!

We joyfully celebrate the graduation of 89 CCL students for Academic Year 2025–2026, including 16 graduates from our South Area campuses. What a wonderful testimony of GOD’s faithfulness as students continue to grow in their walk with Christ and embrace His calling for their lives.

We praise GOD for our ministry partners, volunteers, campus missionaries, and supporters throughout Metro Manila whose prayers, generosity, and commitment to the Gospel made this ministry possible. Your partnership is helping shape lives and raise the next generation of Christ-centered leaders.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to Bible Centered Fellowship for warmly hosting and providing meals for our students. We are especially thankful for the leadership and support of our Board of Trustees member, Mrs. Angel Napole, together with Volunteer Campus Missionary Jhonaliza Casilagan, whose dedication and servant-hearted leadership greatly blessed this event.

As we celebrate this milestone, we are reminded that every transformed life is a testimony of GOD’s grace and every graduate represents another life being equipped to impact the campus, the community, and the world for Christ.
