In accordance with Memorandum Circular No. 122, the suspension of 𝗙𝗔𝗖𝗘-𝗧𝗢-𝗙𝗔𝗖𝗘 𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗦 at all levels in Mary the Queen College of Quezon City(MQCQC) is hereby observed due to the heavy rainfall brought by Tropical Depression Maymay and the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗳𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 as determined by the respective faculty members.

Meanwhile, school offices will remain open to accommodate official transactions and provide assistance to students.

🧠✨ 𝗣𝗦𝗬𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗟𝗢𝗚𝗬 𝗗𝗘𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

A new academic year officially begins with new opportunities, new milestones, and a renewed commitment to excellence.

Despite classes already being underway, the Psychology Department successfully gathered its students for the Psychology Orientation 2026, serving as the department's official assembly to reconnect, celebrate achievements, and prepare for the journey ahead.

The event included important discussions regarding school policies, organizational guidelines, and other essential information to help Psychology students navigate the academic year. It also featured the recognition of our Top Psychology Students for their academic excellence, as well as the awarding of students who proudly represented the department during the Intramurals and Foundation Day. The program likewise honored the dedication and service of our outgoing Psychology Society Officers and formally welcomed the newly elected officers through their Oath-Taking Ceremony, marking the beginning of their leadership for the academic year.

More than just an orientation, the gathering served as a reminder of the strong sense of community and shared goals within the Psychology Department. Through collaboration, leadership, and continuous learning, we look forward to a meaningful academic year filled with growth, achievements, and opportunities to make a positive impact as future psychology professionals.

Following the declaration of the Quezon City Government, 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 on 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟳, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, in view of the 5th State of the Nation Address (SONA) of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., to be held at the Batasang Pambansa Complex, Quezon City.

Students are encouraged to use this time responsibly and make the necessary adjustments to their academic responsibilities, including completing pending requirements and preparing for upcoming classes.

Regular classes and office operations will resume on 𝗧𝘂𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟴, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

To promote professionalism and proper representation of the Psychology Department, all Psychology students are reminded to strictly observe the prescribed uniform guidelines.

The official Psychology Department uniform is the prescribed attire and must be 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗻 𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀, 𝗺𝗮𝗷𝗼𝗿 𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀.

Students are required to wear the prescribed uniform together with their 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗜𝗗 and either the 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗤𝗖𝗤𝗖 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘆𝗮𝗿𝗱 or the 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝘀𝘆𝗰𝗵 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘆𝗮𝗿𝗱.

The 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝘀𝘆𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗿𝘁 may only be worn as an alternative during approved school activities, casual days, or when otherwise permitted, and shall not replace the prescribed psychology department uniform.

Students may continue using their official Psych Society lanyard and official Psychology Department shirt from the previous Academic Year until the release of the new official designs for A.Y. 2026–2027.

Students are also required to wear plain black or plain white shoes as part of the prescribed uniform.

4th year Psychology students must wear their Psychology pin and official nameplate whenever wearing the department uniform.

New students who have not yet acquired the official Psychology Department uniform are reminded to prioritize purchasing it to ensure compliance with the department uniform policy. In the meantime, students are expected to wear appropriate and presentable casual attire when attending school and are reminded to always bring their registration form for verification and other academic-related concerns.

Let us all do our part in observing these guidelines as we uphold the identity and standards of the Psychology Department. Your cooperation and support are highly appreciated.
