✅ Layunin nitong SIGURADUHIN na may GAGALAW, magpapatupad, at magmomonitor ng smoke-free at v**e-free policies sa lokal na antas.

Katulad ng 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐠 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐒𝐦𝐨𝐤𝐞-𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐓𝐚𝐬𝐤 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞, mahalagang may malinaw na liderato at koordinasyon para maging epektibo ang to***co control programs.

Sa ilalim ng panukalang Smoke-Free and Vape-Free Bill:
• Ang MAYOR ang magsisilbing LEAD
• Ang Local Health Office ang magiging CO-LEAD

Bakit ito mahalaga?

Dahil ang smoke-free at v**e-free policies ay nangangailangan ng:
• malinaw na pagpapatupad
• koordinasyon ng iba’t ibang tanggapan
• regular na monitoring
• at mabilis na aksyon laban sa paglabag

Ang kalusugan ng publiko ay hindi dapat napapabayaan dahil lamang walang nakatalagang mangunguna.

For the Department of Health (Philippines), it is not too late to end the growing youth va**ng epidemic through a total ban on v**es. It is the easiest and most logical way to address the problem.

Nakipag-meeting ang Social Watch Philippines (SWP), community leaders ng Maynila, at health experts mula sa Manila Health Department sa opisina ni Manila Kon. Joaquin Domagoso para isulong ang pagkakaroon ng pondo para sa smoke-free at v**e-free programs sa lungsod. Ang pondo ay pwedeng gamitin para tulungan ang mga gustong tumigil sa va**ng at paninigarilyo, awareness campaigns, at operasyon ng bubuuing Smoke-Free Task Force. Sa ngayon ay pinaga-aralan pa ang eksaktong numero para rito.
