TABANG CEBU, Earthquake Victims

Successful Relief Operation in Support to Earthquake-Affected Families in North Cebu

A collaborative relief operation was successfully conducted by Pamayanang Handa - CARES, Grand Council of the Philippines, Inc., The Fraternal Order of Eagles - Philippine Eagles, Inc., Rotary International District 3810, Innerwheel Philippines, District 384, Cebu Grand Council to support affected families in Barangay Gaway-Gaway, San Remigio and SM Cares Municipality of Bogo.

The humanitarian effort, which took place over the past few days, successfully provided essential supplies and support to 500 families across both locations. In Barangay Gaway-gaway, relief efforts reached 400 families, while 100 families benefited from the distribution in Bogo.

Local government units, combined with non-profit organizations and community volunteers, mobilized quickly to assess needs and deliver food, water, hygiene kits, and other essential supplies to those impacted by the earthquake.

The relief operation was a testament to the resilience and compassion of the Cebu community, showcasing how collective efforts can make a significant impact. "We recognize that healing and rebuilding are long-term processes, and we remain committed to supporting these families as they recover,"
