Today, PATAMABA proudly participated as one of the panelists during the "Ligtas na Trabaho, Protektadong Manggagawa: OSH para sa Lahat!" forum held at the Great Eastern Hotel, Aberdeen Court.
As the voice of home-based and informal workers, PATAMABA shared its experiences and insights during the panel discussion, highlighting the importance of making Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) accessible to all workers—including those in the informal economy who often work from their homes or in community-based workplaces.
The discussion emphasized that every worker deserves a safe and healthy working environment, regardless of where or how they work. PATAMABA also shared its continuous efforts in promoting safe work practices, empowering women home-based workers, and advocating for inclusive policies that recognize and protect informal workers.
We thank the organizers and fellow panelists for creating a meaningful space for dialogue and collaboration. Together, we move closer to a future where every worker is protected, valued, and safe.
