Mega Jobs Fair, held on January 23, 2026, was a resounding success in advancing employment opportunities and public service collaboration. The activity was led by Rotary Club of Makati F. Zobel as Lead Host, together with RC Muntinlupa Central, RC Makati Gems, the City Government of Muntinlupa through PESO, and the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).

The event was hosted by a strong network of Rotary Clubs including RC Parañaque East, RC Parañaque Sucat, RC Muntinlupa Emerald, RC Makati Ayala Triangle, RC Healing Hands, RC Fort Bonifacio Global City, RC Forbes Park, RC Business and Servant Leaders–Global, RC Banawe Chinatown D3780, RC Sunvalley Sunrise, RC Achievers & Innovators, RC Parañaque St. Andrew, RC Las Piñas East, E-Club of BGC Manila, RC Makati Pio del Pilar, RC Makati Dasmariñas, RC Makati, and RC Makati Cristo Rey.

This large-scale initiative was made even more impactful through partnerships with PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, SSS, OWWA, BIR, NBI, South Park Center, DZRH Operation Tulong, Champion Presidents, and the Rotaract Club of Muntinlupa Central, ensuring holistic support for jobseekers.

A total of 85 companies participated, offering 6,900 job vacancies. The fair served 1,477 applicants, with an impressive 340 applicants hired on the spot, representing 23% of total applicants—meaning almost 1 out of every 4 jobseekers secured immediate employment. In addition, 3,460 applicants qualified during initial screening, while 2,231 were near-hired, signaling strong employment prospects following final requirements.

The Mega Jobs Fair also demonstrated inclusivity by serving PWDs, senior citizens, and LGBTQI+ applicants, while government agencies provided on-site assistance for employment documentation and social services.

Truly, the 2026 Mega Jobs Fair exemplified Rotary’s commitment to Service Above Self, proving that collaboration between Rotary Clubs, government agencies, and partners can open doors to dignified work and brighter futures for thousands of Filipinos.

In a meaningful gesture to support student health and character development, the Rotary Club of Banawe Chinatown (RCBC) visited Camp Emilio Aguinaldo High School to distribute prescribed eyeglasses to deserving students. The initiative aimed to improve the visual health of young learners, ensuring that clear vision would no longer be a barrier to their academic performance.

During the event, students received eyeglasses tailored to their individual prescriptions, enabling them to engage more fully in classroom activities and schoolwork. The distribution reflects RCBC’s ongoing commitment to community service and education, emphasizing the importance of holistic support for youth.

In addition to the eyeglass distribution, RCBC also unveiled a Four-Way Test marker within the school premises. The marker serves as a daily reminder for students and faculty to uphold the principles of honesty, fairness, goodwill, and mutual benefit—core values that guide Rotary’s mission worldwide.
