Jonah 2:1
“From inside the fish Jonah prayed to the Lord his God.

Jonah didn’t end up in the belly of the fish because God was angry. He ended up there because God wasn’t done with him.

The fish was uncomfortable, dark, and lonely—but it was also the place where Jonah finally stopped running and started praying.
When everything was taken away—his plans, his control, his escape—Jonah had only God left. And that was enough.
Sometimes God allows us to be in seasons that feel like we’re stuck, silenced, or swallowed by life. But those moments are not meant to destroy us. They are meant to redirect us.

What feels like a setback might actually be God’s setup—preparing your heart for obedience and your life for purpose.

Reflection:�What if the place you’re trying to escape is the very place God wants to meet you?

Prayer:�Lord, help me stop running. Teach me to trust You even in uncomfortable places. Align my heart with Your will. Amen.
