The SUNDALAND, commonly known as the Sundaic region, is a bio-geographical region in southeast Asia. It contains a portion of Asia's continental shelf that was exposed during the last ice age. Sundaland is made up of the islands of Sumatra, Java, and Borneo, as well as other nearby islands and the Asian mainland cape.

Good Day, Lucians! Another week, another knowledge to come.

According to National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, rip currents typically reach speeds of 1 to 2 feet per second. However, some rip currents have been measured at 8 feet per second—faster than any Olympic swimmer ever recorded (NOAA, 2005b).
