CLASS OF 2025 DONATES NEW PROD MATERIALS, EQUIPMENT TO MASKOM
October 6, 2023
The UP College of Media and Communication (CMC) Class of 2025, through its official graduation committee CMC VOX, officially delivered its batch legacy on Oct. 4 to support fellow Alagad ng Midya in their academic and organizational activities.
It was received at the CMC Lobby by CMC Student Council Vice Chairperson Kiel Fernandez.
Funded by the collected graduation fees, the donation consisted of new production materials and equipment, such as lights, backdrops, tripods, and microphones. Inquiries on borrowing materials and equipment must be made through the CMC Student Council.
CMC VOX also turned over the remaining graduation funds to the CMC Student Council for its future activities. The full report and breakdown of the batch legacy could be accessed via https://bit.ly/VOXBatchLegacy2025.
Present at the turnover were CMC VOX Overall Head Andrew Ronquillo, Secretary General Adi Carlos, Audio-Visual Presentation (AVP) Committee Member Cal Maurillo, and Creatives Committee Co-Head Bianca Co.
“This legacy is a symbol of gratitude, hence aimed at extending accessible support services for the Maskom community. May we use these to uphold the values of the college for a free and liberating media,” Ronquillo said.
More than a turnover, the event reaffirmed the enduring Maskom spirit and tradition of giving back not just to the college, but ultimately to the people from whom their education is owed.
