MFC flies to Cebu!

For the 3rd run of the Kusina ng Pag-asa Activation Training, members of the Maginhawa Food Community partners with kitchens from Cebu City.

We would like to thank these Partner Kitchens for joining us in our efforts to prepare hot, safe, and nutritious meals in times of disaster.

With our growing network of partner kitchens, KNP aims to strengthen communities through sharing best practices that can be implemented for quicker and more efficient disaster response operations.

Kusina ng Pag-asa (KNP) proves that when communities prepare together before disasters happen, we can respond with greater speed, compassion, and dignity. Every partner kitchen strengthens our collective capacity to care for those who need it most.

The activation training is facilitated by business owners from the Maginhawa Food Community (MFC), who also authored the training modules based on their collective experience in restaurant operations, volunteer mobilization, and community-led disaster response.

KNP is spearheaded by Angat Buhay, ASA Philippines, and implemented by MFC.

Last July 28, the kitchens of the Maginhawa Food Community came together for our Kusina ng Pag-asa Activation Training.

We thank these Partner Kitchens who answered the call to serve not just food but hope. Thank you for joining us in this endeavor to bring dignified and nutritious meals to those in need in times of disaster.

KNP aims to strengthen communities through learning from one another, sharing best practices and strengthening our partnerships for quicker and more efficient disaster response operations.
