INSTITUTIONALIZING TRANSPARENCY & ELEVATING OUR STANDARDS THROUGH OBJECTIVE EVALUATION IN ROVER SCOUTING

To preserve institutional integrity and align our scouting processes with Authentic Assessment and Outcome-Based Education (OBE) frameworks, SCOUT OSCAR M. ALCARAZ ROVER CIRCLE 17 officially introduces the Objective Rubric-Based Pointing System and Evaluation Scaling for Rover Scout Advancement Projects since 2022.

This newly institutionalized policy memorandum ensures a highly reliable, evidence-based, and transparent mechanism for scoring peer advancements based strictly on concrete Means of Verification (MOVs).

Moving forward, all project evaluationsโ€”ranging from the number of beneficiaries to the long-term sustainable value of the initiativeโ€”will follow this standardized 10-point granular rubric.

Let us continue to elevate the standards of Rover Scouting!

Alcaraz Rover Circle 17 who were honored with the Chief Scout Nation Builder Award, the highest distinction in Rover Scouting. This prestigious recognition reflects their extraordinary dedication, exemplary leadership, and unwavering commitment to service.

Alcaraz Rover Circle 17 as they became recipients of the prestigious Yellow, Green, Red, and Blue Quadrant Awards. This remarkable milestone reflects their unwavering dedication, perseverance, and steadfast commitment to the noble ideals of scouting and to their community.
