Thank you Gloria for your big contributions to our Group. You make a lot of children very happy with your work since i meet you with Crochet Lovers Philippines in Eastwood year 2018. You donated a huge amount of your creations during our fundraising and gift giving for kids and elders.
All our members learned a lot from you with proper techniques and different stitches in the art of crochet. A knowledge that permanently implanted with us.

This is a post 5 years ago where Crochet For A Cause Philippines started. I got a lot of responses, half of them are bogus and half of them still with group supporting each other. Others are just eyeing on the yarn to be given but no finished products submitted. To all members who are still with the group, a heartful thanks to everyone for making people of all ages happy.

July is the nutrition month here in the Philippines. As part of my 71th birthday celebration, we did a feeding for the Day Care Center with gift giving and parlor games here in Panan, Botolan , Zambales It was fun to see kids with smile, laughing and crying ( temper tantrums) . Thank you teacher Rizza Domil for your full support to these kids, your long years of dedication in teaching and molding these kind of children. Thanks to my CROCHET FOR A CAUSE family for helping me create the beautiful crochet items as a gift giving. And to my adopted families who did prepare the food served and setting the place for this event. Also thanks to Kap. Albert Viloria for letting us use the Barangay plaza .

BREAST CANCER AWARENESS 2026 is approaching. Crochet for a Cause Philippines is preparing crochet chemo hats for women under chemotherapy. A chemo hat is a soft comfortable head covering for cancer patients experiencing hair loss . We will continue to crochet till the end of the year for these ladies . For hospitals and chemo centers who has patients who need hat , just let me know. And for those crochters who wants to donate 100% cotton crochet hat just pm me for details. Thank you in advance.

Today, we celebrated the birthday of our dear founder, Ms. Nelly Worrell, along with our fellow July birthday celebrants — in the warm and welcoming community of Brgy Bucao, Botolan, Zambales. 🥳

True to our mission, we marked this special day by giving away handmade amigurumis and school supplies to the local children — small tokens of care crafted with love. 💖

Seeing the joy on their faces reminded us why we do what we do. Every stitch tells a story, and today, it was a story of compassion, celebration, and connection. 🧸📚
