Like Miriam, FORPH believes that young people represent nothing less than a force for transformative social change. Today, we remember and celebrate the birth of one of the Philippines' most brilliant public servants, Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago.

Born on June 15, 1945, she inspired generations through her unwavering commitment to justice, integrity, excellence, and fearless leadership. Her sharp intellect, courage in the face of adversity, and dedication to the Filipino people continue to serve as a beacon for those who dream of a better nation.

Though she is no longer with us, her words, principles, and legacy remain alive in the hearts of countless Filipinos.
