Many of the victims are among the poorest in Metro Manila. We are deeply grateful to our partner Kapatiran-Kaunlaran Foundation Inc. (KKFI) for immediately reaching out with much-needed support, and for the vital work they continue to do in Tondo every day.

We encourage you to stand with KKFI as they carry out their outreach to help those affected by this disaster. Every bit of support makes a difference. โค๏ธ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

Maligayang araw ng kalayaan Pilipinas! ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ Happy Independence Day! Today is also the World Day Against Child Labor.
Earlier today we at Mission Alliance in Manila commemorated the day together with Quezon City Government Philippine Children's Ministries Network World Vision Philippines, The Royal Norwegian Embassy in Manila and other representatives from CSOs and authorities, and the most important guests; children with their parents.
The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, which the Philippines and Norway ratified over three decades ago, is clear: Every child has the right to protection from exploitation, to education, and to a childhood free from harm. Child labor violates these rights. It is our shared duty, as governments, NGOs, and citizens, to stay commited to the protection of all children.
Today was a great encouragment and a reminder, that together we stand stronger in the combat against child labor. Thank you very much! ๐Ÿ’š Misjonsalliansen

The recent 4-day learning visit by Mission Alliance Vietnam has concluded, offering valuable insights into several key initiatives. Highlights from the visit include presentations on best practices in child safeguarding from Center for the Prevention and Treatment of Child Sexual Abuse, Philippine Children's Ministries Network and field exposure in Lgu-BANATE where our partner Share An Opportunity Philippines, Inc. is working collaboratively on building child-mindful resilient communities. Additionally, participants explored climate-smart aquaculture, mangrove planting, Village Savings and Loan Association (VSLA) models, and community savings and loan initiatives.

Mission Alliance Philippines and its partners gained significant knowledge during the visit, particularly regarding organic farming models and the production of organic fertilizers. These models, currently being implemented in Vietnam, are of great interest to the communities, who are considering adapting them in the near future.

We express our gratitude for all partners, communities and the Mission Alliance VietName team for this this enriching experience.
