Kits for PH joined forces with our partner teacher, Ma’am Alma Cecilia Lawagan, to bring more than just cleaning supplies, we brought stories, care, and community for the Brigada Eskwela 2025 at Antonio Regidor Elementary School ✨
📖 A heartfelt storytelling session was led by Izza Arnaez, featuring “Kaya ni Mina”, a local picture book that teaches kids to respect and empower children with disabilities. The book was generously donated by its illustrator, Cy Vendivil.
🩺 Through Dr. Antonio Karlo B. Casinabe, we held a Health & Wellness Talk for parents, emphasizing the importance of proper meals (especially breakfast) and when to seek medical help to avoid spreading illnesses. We also hosted a free doctor’s consultation for the school community, a much-needed initiative since the school doesn’t have an assigned doctor. Teachers were among those who benefited most.
This effort was made possible by the Kits for PH community: Stephanie Hainto,Izza Arnaez, Rica Arnaez, Dr. Anton Casinabe, and donations from generous rays of hope and, of course, the warm participation of Teacher Alma, the faculty, and students of Antonio Regidor Elementary School.
Because Brigada means more when it’s rooted in care, connection, and community. 💛
