Earlier today, EMLJCMASHS held its first Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) for S.Y. 2026–2027. The first simulation recorded an evacuation time of 1 minute and 37.79 seconds, followed by a second simulation that improved to 1 minute and 17 seconds after students were guided on proper earthquake response and evacuation procedures.

To support the activity, RCY Adviser Angelo Confiado and RCY Interim President Brien Rayos, along with RCY members Prince Cabanela and Ezra Pagtama, guided students through proper earthquake response procedures and demonstrated correct protective measures during emergencies. Through the drill, students were given the opportunity to apply these safety practices and improve their preparedness in the event of an actual earthquake.

"Always First, Always Ready, Always There"

From the very first day of Academic Year 2025 - 2026, Eugenio Lopez Jr Center for Media Arts Senior High School's (ELJCMASHS) Senior Plus Red Cross Youth (SPRCY) members have been active — staying at the side, attending to those in need.

Despite the challenges in people, financial, and materials, SPRCY members have proven themselves as resourceful and adoptable in every given circumstances.

As of March 31 2026, SPRCY Senior Members celebrates their Graduation Rites to take a step forward for their incoming tomorrow at GT Toyata, UP Diliman, Quezon City.

Their preparedness and adoptability may be a force to push them into using their good wills for others and for themselves. May this day be a stepping stone for them to take — for a bright future where they can be first, ready, and there with fulfilled heart.
