𝗗𝗥𝗢𝗣, 𝗖𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗢𝗟𝗗 𝗢𝗡! ⛑️🫡

On 𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟏𝟏, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, 𝗮𝘁 𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝟗:𝟎𝟎 𝗔𝗠 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, the 𝗘𝘂𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼 𝗟𝗼𝗽𝗲𝘇 𝗝𝗿. 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 community actively participated in the 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹 (𝗡𝗦𝗘𝗗).

Every student, teacher, and staff joined together in practicing proper earthquake response procedures to ensure safety and preparedness in times of disaster. This activity reminds us that disaster readiness is not just a routine drill, but a vital habit that can save lives. 🌍⚠️

Through unity and awareness, we strengthen our resilience and readiness to face any disasters or challenges. 💪✨🦺

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), su***de remains a serious global public health issue, taking more than 𝟳𝟮𝟬,𝟬𝟬𝟬 lives every year. Each life lost brings deep emotional, social, and economic impacts — affecting families, friends, workplaces, and entire communities.

The three-year theme (𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓-𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔), “Reframing the Story on Suicide,” invites us all to:

🎯 Challenge harmful beliefs and false assumptions about su***de
🎯 Break down stigma surrounding mental health and su***de
🎯 Foster open, compassionate, and respectful conversations
🎯 Encourage people to seek help without fear, guilt, or shame

This is a call to move away from silence and misunderstanding, and instead embrace empathy, connection, and support. By doing so, we create safe environments where people feel heard, valued, and encouraged to reach out.

💡 Always be kind and gentle — you never know the struggles someone is carrying.
💡 A simple word, smile, or act of care could be the reason someone holds on.

🤝 Together, let’s change the narrative on su***de — because every life matters.

Whether you’re at home or on the road, take extra care and prepare for any emergency that might arise. Don’t forget to bring an umbrella when you’re going outside or in work.

We at Senior Plus Red Cross Youth encourage everyone to look out for one another—because every act of care, no matter how small, can make a big difference.

𝗥𝗢𝗢𝗠 𝗧𝗢 𝗥𝗢𝗢𝗠 𝗖𝗔𝗠𝗣𝗔𝗜𝗚𝗡 ❤️‍🔥⛑️

Today, July 15, 2025, on the second day of Club Week, the 𝐑𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 (𝐑𝐂𝐘) — in collaboration with 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐚𝐝𝐚 𝐊𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚 𝐃𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐚 (𝐁𝐊𝐃) — conducted its Room-to-Room Campaign to search and inspire fellow Eugenians to join the clubs.

Walking to hallways, entering classroom after classroom, and proudly carrying the emblem of the Red Cross Youth, every step was taken with purpose to find and reach the newest generation of 𝙍𝘾𝙔 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘽𝙆𝘿 𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙤𝙚𝙨.🚑.

Fueled by compassion and desire for a safer, and healthier community — RCY ignited the spirit of volunteerism, while BKD empowered students to stand strong against the dangers of drugs. Together, they sparked hope, courage, and commitment in the hearts of future leaders. 🫶

A Bell with Purpose 🔔‼️
June 19, 2025

Yesterday, the familiar sound of the school bell signaled more than just a routine. It marked a vital step in preparedness. Students, alongside the Red Cross Youth, carried out the National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) with calm focus and urgency, setting a new record of 1 minute and 39 seconds.

Clear commands rang out across the grounds, with discipline and intention. With Red Cross members leading seamlessly, the drill became a powerful display of teamwork—students looking out for one another, ready for a situation they all hope never arrives.

This wasn’t just a drill it was a powerful lesson in unity, leadership, and the strength of collective action in times of crisis. 💪🏼

In the final Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill under this year’s SPRCY (March 13, 2025), SPRCY members remained in their classrooms, keeping it real and unscripted. With the rising heat index, safety took priority, because disaster preparedness shouldn’t come at the cost of health. ⚠️☀️

A swift yet meaningful two-minute drill proved that awareness matters more than performance. Preparedness isn’t about perfection, it’s about readiness when it truly counts. ‼️

We would like to thank Eugenians for participating in this year's NSED. SPRCY truly appreciates your cooperation in making safety a priority ‼️
