- In the midst of the pandemic, another crisis is brought to light. There has been a recent surge in crimes against those of Asian heritage, particularly in the United States. Verbal harassment, physical assault, and discrimination; these are some of the things that they have had to face due to being unjustly blamed for the COVID-19 virus. Our page, Asia as One, aims to bring attenti
on to the Anti-Asian movement occurring in the present as well as show solidarity with those in the Asian community. We are against hate crimes or brutality of any kind towards people, especially with race as a basis. We firmly believe it should not be tolerated. Purpose
- The main motive of the project is to advocate for policy changes and to inform where services are needed for more effective response and prevention against anti-Asian attacks. The need for mental health resources is greater than ever. Uplifting efforts to support hate crime victims and increase protection and security. This project is worth sponsoring for it will enable to take action. This will also help Asians from being attacks by other foreigners and literate people with training that provides skills for identifying and deescalating instances of anti-Asian American harassment and xenophobia. Base with education and support, so when it happens to another community in the future, we are ready. Mission
