HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE ORIGINAL MAGIC OF ROTARY! 🎂💙💛

Today, we remember and celebrate PP Edison “Sir Magic” Ong †, a Rotary International Service Above Self Awardee and known to generations as the Godfather of Philippine Rotaract.

His legacy lives in the fellowship we share, the institutions we continue to strengthen, and the generations of young leaders he believed in. From helping nurture a more united Rotaract Philippines to supporting the beginnings of the Pilipinas Rotaract MDIO and PROCON, Sir Magic helped build a legacy far greater than himself.

Though he may no longer be with us, the magic of his service continues every time Rotaractors gather, serve, lead, and dream together.

Happy Birthday, Sir Magic. Thank you for believing in Rotaract and in the power of young leaders to make a difference.

May the Magic continue. ✨

This Rotary Year, we are called not only to create impact—but to create lasting impact that lives beyond our time.

It is no longer about us. It is about the people we serve, the communities we empower, and the lives we inspire through service above self.

Together, let us lead with unified purpose, serve with compassion.

Every Rotarian has a story.

Rotary has shaped my life in countless ways. It has connected me with mentors, lifelong friends, opportunities to serve, and even my family. It has helped me grow as a leader and as a person.

Today marks my first day as the 2026-27 President of Rotary International.

This year, I hope we will Create Lasting Impact. Together, we will strengthen Rotary, grow our membership, support The Rotary Foundation, advance peace, and continue our work to End Polio Now.

I hope this year is one of connection, growth, and service. Thank you for trusting me with the opportunity to lead this incredible organization 💛

𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐋𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭. 𝐁𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬.

As we begin a new Rotary Year, we are reminded that service is not measured by what we do today, but by the lasting impact we create for tomorrow. Guided by Rotary International's 2026–2027 Presidential Message, *Create Lasting Impact*, we are inspired to strengthen our communities, empower others, and build meaningful connections that continue to make a difference for generations to come.

We are, Rotaract Club of Loyola Heights from Rotaract Clubs of Rotary International District 3780 and I believe that every act of service, every opportunity to welcome others, and every meaningful connection has the power to leave a lasting legacy.

Today, I proudly commit to growing as a leader, serving with purpose, embracing others with open arms, and creating lasting impact within my club, my community, and beyond.

Together, we don't simply create change.
Together, we create opportunities.
Together, we create hope.

Together, we Create Lasting Impact
