| The International Training Center for Pig Husbandry (ITCPH) has launched the Pig Identification and Recording System (PIgS) App, a comprehensive data-management solution for pig farms. By scanning RFID ear-tags and QR codes, PIgS allows users to effortlessly log animal data, monitor each pig’s history, and generate both technical and production reports. Accessible anytime and anywhere, the app ensures real-time tracking and viewing of all farm records.
The International Training Center for Pig Husbandry (ITCPH) introduced the Pig Identification and Recording System (PIgS) App. This is a data management tool designed for pig farms, enabling the user to store and organize farm-related information.
International Training Center on Pig Husbandry Center Director Dr. Ruth S. Miclat-Sonaco led the launching of the PIgS app which can easily record farm data by scanning RFID ear-tags and QR codes. The app can also monitor individual animal’s record and can generate technical and production results as well as track and view farm data anywhere and anytime.
ATI Assistant Director Antonieta J. Arceo graced the activity along with Atty. Rhaegee Tamaña from the office of Senator Cynthia Villar. Also present in the launching are representatives from the Philippine College of Swine Practitioners, City Veterinarian office of Lipa and Tanauan, National Meat Inspection Service Region 4A, UNIBAT, SIDC, NATFED, Cargill Philippines, Philippine Swine Foundation, Inc., Pork Producers, National Federation of Hog Farmers Inc., and UNAHCO.
