Hi I'm Jennifer your CSR/SME, Analyst, CSE
I started working right after I graduated.
I started with a part-time job with a market research company doing a couple of projects for them. At that time internet was not that popular yet so we were assigned to towns within our province and interviewed people based on the profiles provided to us.
Example: A cement company held an exhibit in our province in different malls. All data gathered who entered the booth were collected and we checked their houses doing interviews but only for engineers and architects. We asked them questions which were provided to us.
It was a great experience connecting to people, but it was also hard traveling without a car. I learned a lot even though this was for 2 weeks period only but the pay was good at that time.
Later on, my grandmother nagged at me for not getting a stable job which I am Thankful she did haha. I also tried applying for a job I was not sure about at that time, Management Trainee.
In this post, I was trained as a Supervisor for the Department Store side of a famous mall in our Province. I am up for the challenge but I did not last long because I wanted more.
I wanted more experience because I can't lead people if I don't have much experience so I applied at a local bookstore and was hired, first as a Promodiser, then as a Customer Associate, then my contract got extended but I have this dream of joining in a call center company so.....
I tried applying for a call center company when they had an application caravan in our town. Though when you pass you will be assigned to a different province but that was fine with me then it was my dream!
Then came the final round and believe it or not only 2 made it there from all the applicants but only one was hired and guess what it was not me LOL.
I got sad but I did not stop, I met someone from high school who started teaching me how to talk, and answer interviews and I also met other applicants whom I became friends with. Then a new job post showed and this time I was hired and started my journey in the call center Industry.
The last team I was part with from my previous company as a Call Center Agent/SME before the account got dissolved.
