On March 22, 2025, CFC Davao collaborated with the Environmental Management Bureau Region XI (EMB XI) to lead simultaneous cleanup activities along the Talomo and Tamugan Rivers in Davao City in observance of World Water Day. These efforts aimed to raise awareness about water conservation and promote community involvement in protecting vital water resources.

The cleanup of the Tamugan River aligns with ongoing initiatives to protect and conserve the Panigan-Tamugan Watershed, a crucial source of Davao City's water supply. Such activities are part of broader efforts to ensure the sustainability and quality of the city's water resources. ​

These collaborative endeavors underscore the importance of local actions in addressing global water challenges and highlight the community's commitment to environmental stewardship.
