Look at you, always preaching on how to be an effective "student-leader," but can't even apply it to yourself. I am not the kind of person who posts about internal issues, but even the past officers of the org have the same complaints for a year now.
For starters, we got funds to be used for the org's events that came from each member's pockets. You always question the funds to the treasurer, when in fact you are the one who used up all the money. 12k??? just for the freshie walk??? It DOES not add up.
One more thing, about the merch of the organization. We always ask "when will we get the merch", and the answer we always get is "there is a problem in the production, it is delayed blah blah". And YOU always tell us, the reason for that is confidential? Don't we deserve transparency?
Last but not the least, your management towards appointing people, especially in a higher position. Not only the money you spent on is questionable but also on how you appoint people based on your closeness to them. As far as we know, vacant positions should be VACANT and there should be a VOTING process to the candidate for that position. How come you overruled the bylaws? Are you above the law? And why's your term becomes 2 year consecutive? It's not justifiable based on your performance as a student regent.
We always look up to you, but there are things that made us lose our trust and sense of awareness about what is happening, your misconduct and poor management motivates not only the officers but the cols rather to resign. I hope you stick to the words you preach. Isn't it ironic how you always talk about good governance and leadership, and you can not apply it to yourself? The allocation of the budget is questionable. Please answer this for everyone's transparency!
We won’t mention your name because we don’t want to tarnish your reputation. You know who you are already, and hopefully, if direct communication from others hasn’t been enough, this post will address both our questions and concerns. Please keep in mind that we have no ill intentions; we simply hope that you can ADDRESS our concerns, ACCEPT and correct any mistakes, and give all of us a SINCERE apology.
