𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | 𝐉𝐀𝐀𝐅 𝐗 𝐃𝐒𝐖𝐃 𝐖𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐆 𝐆𝐔𝐓𝐎𝐌 𝐊𝐈𝐓𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐍

Last April 29, 2026, JAAF Scholars took part in a volunteer activity at Walang Gutom Kitchen. The scholars engaged in meaningful community service through serving meals, guiding the beneficiaries, and even tutoring children. The experience highlighted how initiatives like this go beyond providing immediate needs because they also create spaces for a sense of belongingness within the community.

In a short span of time, the gratitude and smiles of the beneficiaries were all evident. Moments like these show that even small actions can make a difference, especially when done with collective effort. This also serves as a reminder of the importance of sustaining programs like this, as they continue to strengthen the values of compassion and shared humanity.

As the activity came to a close, the scholars took a moment to reflect on the experience—carrying with them not only memories of service but also a renewed sense of purpose. The simple acts of kindness shared that day left a lasting impression, both on the beneficiaries and the volunteers themselves. It became clear that beyond the meals served and lessons taught, what truly mattered was the connection built within the community.

With hearts full of gratitude, the scholars expressed appreciation for the opportunity to serve and learn. The experience served as an initial step toward deeper involvement in community work, inspiring them to continue giving back and to remain committed to making a positive impact, no matter how small the act may seem.

🎒 Why Join?
Aside from being a pre-requisite for the Dream Camp (set for the 2nd weekend of June at El Dorado City!), these sessions are led by Kevin Dela Cruz, co-founder of PH. It’s all about building community, finding your identity, and ensuring that no scholar walks their path alone.
