The PPSci Barkada Kontra Bisyo joins the observance of the International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction (IDDRR) on October 13, 2026, and expresses its support for this year's global theme, "Resilience Starts at Home," and the localized theme, "Panatag na Tahanan at Paaralan."

We also support the launch of the Panatag Pilipinas 3.0 Campaign in schools, led by the Office of Civil Defense (OCD) as the country's main activity for IDDRR 2026.

Through its preparedness videos, the campaign promotes practical knowledge and skills that empower learners, teachers, other school personnel, families, and communities to better understand disaster risks and take proactive measures to protect lives and property.

We, at the PPSci Barkada Kontra Bisyo, remain committed to fostering a culture of preparedness and resilience among our stakeholders by translating knowledge into action and strengthening disaster readiness.
