🌲 BSP-PNS SCHOOL ENCAMPMENT 2025: A Resounding Success! 🌲
October 3–5, 2025 |
Palawan National School Grounds 🏫

The Katala Scouts proudly conclude a weekend filled with adventure, learning, and camaraderie! This year’s encampment became a meaningful experience for our young scouts as they gained essential scouting skills and knowledge — from teamwork and leadership to survival and service. Truly, they have lived up to our theme: “Scouts of the Present, Leaders of the Future: Embracing Change and Leading with Purpose.” 💪🔥

We extend our deepest gratitude to our school administratives — to our school principal, Dr. Jabel Anthony L. Nuñala, PhD, to our school assistant principal, Mrs. Ofelia Recalde, with the help of the MAPEH Teachers of PNS, and most especially to our BSP-PNS Coordinator, Sctr. Don DonDemecillo, and Assistant BSP-PNS Coordinator, Sctr. Dan Moreno Carcuevas, for guiding and allowing us to host this wonderful event!

A heartfelt appreciation as well to Sir Ronnie Gasis Caralipio, Head of the MAPEH Department and our Council Scout Executive, whose leadership, dedication, and unwavering support made all of this possible. His passion for both education and scouting truly inspires us all to aim higher and serve better.

Special thanks to the City Youth Development Office - Puerto Princesa for their generous support and for sponsoring our beautiful event tarpaulin (Seen on the last 2 photos of this post). Your contribution and assistance helped make this encampment possible and more memorable for every scout who participated. 🙏💚

With the inspiring theme:
“Scouts of the Present, Leaders of the Future: Embracing Change and Leading with Purpose.” 🌍✨

A weekend filled with fun, adventure, skills, friendship, and the true spirit of Scouting awaits!

Here is the list of the things that YOU must prepare for this coming school emcampment:
- Camp Registration Fee (₱150)
- Official Red Neckerchief & Carabao Slide
- Clothes good for 3 days
- Food supply good for 3 days
- Type A/B Uniform (if available)
- Hygiene Kit & Medicine (shampoo, toothbrush, allergy pills, etc.)
- Willingness to learn and positive scouting spirit!

🇵🇭✨ With pride, discipline, and unity — the Katala Scouts proudly led the Snappy Parade and Entrance of the Colors during the PNS Intramurals 2025 held at the Abueg Gymnasium this September 26, 2025. 🎉⚜️

Carrying the colors with honor, we stand as symbols of respect, leadership, and true scouting spirit. 💚💛

🌱✨ Scouts in Action, Take Two!✨🌱

Yesterday, September 19, 2025, our Katala Scouts proudly took part in Tarabangan 2025 Day 2, a school-wide clean-up drive at the PNS Tennis Court Area. 💪🧹

Together, we worked hand-in-hand to keep our environment clean and to show that scouting is also about service to the community. 🌍💚

A heartfelt thank you to the PNS Youth for Environment in Schools-Organization and the school administrators for making this meaningful activity possible 🙌.

We also extend our gratitude to the Scouts who have participated! 🤝
