"One Drop of Humanity. Give Blood. Save Lives." This is the year's theme of the National Blood Donor's Month this July. This highlights the recognition of 108 Partner Agencies from different sectors such as local government units, civic organizations, schools and universities, religious organizations, government offices, private establishments and partners from the media. These are the agencies who supported the advocacy on blood donation and conducted mass blood donation activities from July 2024 to June 2026. Having able to collect 81% of blood within its Blood Service Zonal Area in year 2025, the PRC-Palawan Chapter presented its reach having able to serve blood needs of 14 partner hospitals within its network.

This also calls to encourage more blood donors from among the youth sectors and communities and to formalize agreements with its partner agencies for a more safe and sustainable supply of blood.

This event also gives importance to the contribution of each individual blood donors who selflessly donate blood to save more lives.

This activity would not have been possible without the collective efforts of 250 participants from our Board of Directors, dedicated staff, Red Cross Youth volunteers, RC 143 volunteers, partner stakeholders, and community members who generously gave their time and energy for this cause.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to the CENRO for the seedlings, Western Philippines University, CDRRMO & WTEI for Transportation and Barangay Bagong Bayan for warmly hosting the activity and for supporting our shared commitment to environmental stewardship and disaster resilience.

Every mangrove we plant today is an investment in a safer, greener, and more resilient tomorrow. Together, let us continue to take action because resilience begins with all of us.

Ang simpleng paglalaan ng ilang minuto upang mag-donate ng dugo ay maaaring maging ikalawang pagkakataon sa buhay ng isang taong nakikipaglaban sa sakit, sumasailalim sa operasyon, o biktima ng aksidente. Ang bawat patak ng dugong iyong ibinibigay ay maaaring magligtas ng isang buhay at maghatid ng pag-asa sa isang pamilya. As we begin the celebration of the National Blood Donors Month and the National Disaster Resilience Month 2026 this July, we welcome this month-long celebration by formalizing a partnership agreement with the Western Philippine University.

Youth plays a vital role in voluntary blood donation and volunteer engagement during disasters and emergencies hence this meaningful initiative will bring positive impact among youth and the community where they belong.

With the National Blood Donors Month celebration theme "One Drop of Humanity. Give Blood.Save Lives" and the National Disaster Resiliece Month 2026 theme "Naghahanda at Kumikilos para sa Panatag na Bagong Pilipinas", may this effort promote volunteerism and radiates hope not only among the youth but to the entire community of our Province-Palawan.
