YLS is the biggest and the longest-running program of PIGLAS Palawan and Western Command in youth empowerment. Moreover, YLS not only broadens the perspective of youth about leadership, but it also instills in the minds of the participants that peace is possible and that they are all capable of creating change โ first in theirselves, then in the community.
YLS Palawan is a four-day summit which features talks, outdoor activities, plenary sessions and workshop group discussions. Also, it is designed to build the participantsโ confidence and hone their leadership skills, nurture commitment to integrity and principled leadership, foster patriotism, and encourage faithful stewardship of their communities as well as the countryโs future.
