Casting Call for "TANGWAY: A One-Act Play" by Dante Nico Garcia
PERFORMANCE DATES: August 28 to September 1 in Puerto Princesa City
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Marvin is an artist who is frustrated with his Palawan life and eager to explore the world outside of the island because even if he is known as the "Best Alakayo of Palawan," he is disheartened that his talent is only recognized during the feast of Saint Augustine. Moreover, he must perform while masked.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Male
- 18 to 30 years old
- Strong memorization skills for long monologues
- Comfortable wearing the costume and performing the dance of an ‘Alakayo’
HOW TO AUDITION:
1. Request Script:
- Send a message to the Four Eight Studios page to receive a copy of the audition script.
2. Submit Audition Video:
- Record a 1-minute introduction video.
- Perform and record the full monologue.
- Send both videos to the Four Eight Studios page by July 1, 2024.
3. Next Steps:
- Qualified applicants will be notified for face-to-face auditions on July 7, 2024 in Puerto Princesa City
