PPCNSHS SEIZES 1ST PLACE IN THE 2026 MUSEUMS AND GALLERIES MONTH QUIZ BEE 🥇

Demonstrating academic excellence and a deep appreciation for local culture and heritage, Team PPSCI bagged 1st Place in the 2026 Museums and Galleries Month Quiz Bee: “Museo ng Kaalaman: Hamon sa Isipan” held on October 11, 2026, at SM City Puerto Princesa.

Representing Puerto Princesa City National Science High School, Maeven Andrea Rose Arriera Simbajon (Grade 10 Silver) and Jehoshabeth Agustin Roque (Grade 10 Gold) delivered an outstanding performance on stage. Guided by their dedicated coach, Ma'am Hazel Kate G. Barcenas from the MAKABAYAN Cluster, our brilliant scholars showcased exceptional mastery of local history, museums, and the rich cultural heritage of Puerto Princesa and Palawan. Their stellar display of knowledge earned them the top spot and a ₱15,000 cash prize.

Organized by the City Government of Puerto Princesa through the City Tourism Department – Culture and Arts Program, together with partner institutions, the competition carries this year's theme: “Bridging Divides, Preserving the Present for Tomorrow.”
