"Was talking to a local friend yesterday and i asked them why do you think Philippine people are so scammy and dishonest. They told me its because of a lack of national pride and how they represent the country. For example vietnam and thailand where locals really care how their actions reflect on their country and culture as a whole and are patriotic has an effect of people being better in general. What do you think of this logic? They said since the Philippine reputation is already so burnt people just go along with the stereotypes and aren’t afraid if it further damage the reputation of Filipinos."
