Today, we had the privilege of bringing a little help and hope to our fellow residents at Waterway & Hundura, Barangay Poblacion, Puerto Galera through our Relief Goods Distribution.

This simple act of sharing reminds us that in times of need, no one should feel alone. Every pack may seem small, but behind it is a message of care, compassion, and solidarity.

A sincere thank you to everyone who supported, donated, volunteered, and helped make this outreach possible. Your generosity allowed us to reach families who needed a helping hand. Special thanks to G-Beats Radio and Mae-ann Martin for your benevolence and support in making this Relief Goods Distribution possible. Your kindness and willingness to give back to the community truly mean so much to us.

The Puerto Galera Ladies Club Inc. (PGLCI) will be conducting a Relief Goods Distribution for families affected by the recent flooding brought by the southwest monsoon (Habagat) in Sitio Waterway, Brgy. Poblacion, Puerto Galera on August 15, 2026 (Saturday) at 8:30 AM – 10:30 AM.

Through this initiative, PGLCI hopes to extend a little help, comfort, and compassion to families affected by the flooding.

“A simple act of kindness can bring hope to someone in need”

After the relief distribution, PGLCI members will gather at Fred’s Hangout Hundura Brgy. Poblacion, Puerto Galera at 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM for fellowship and a time to reconnect.

Together, let us continue to serve with compassion, give with purpose, and care for our community.

Today, PGLCI proudly conducted a Coastal Cleanup at Encenada Beach, Barangay Palangan, reaffirming our commitment to protecting the natural beauty of Puerto Galera.

We extend our deepest appreciation to the Guardians Brotherhood for your dedication, hard work, and unwavering support. We are equally grateful to the Barangay Palangan Council, especially to Kagawad Arnold Cusi, for your partnership, support, and commitment to environmental stewardship. Your collaboration made this meaningful initiative possible.

To our PGLCI members and all the volunteers who generously gave their time and effort—thank you for being part of this worthwhile cause.

Today reminded us that it doesn't take a crowd to create an impact—it takes people who care. Together, we collected several sacks of waste from our shoreline, proving that when a community unites with a shared purpose, every helping hand contributes to a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable Puerto Galera.
May this inspire more people to protect our oceans, preserve our beaches, and become responsible stewards of the environment.

Together, let's make a difference—one shoreline, one community, and one act of service at a time. Every piece of trash we remove helps protect our marine life, preserve our natural treasures, and inspire others to care for our environment.
