The Province of Agusan del Sur through the Upland Sustainable Agri-Forestry Development (USAD) Program successfully conducted the USAD Site Visitation and Government on Wheels activity at Barangay San Isidro, San Luis, Agusan del Sur. The activity was graced by the members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP), led by Patricia Anne B. Plaza, bringing government services closer to the community.

Residents of Barangay San Isidro benefited from various services provided by participating national government agencies and partner institutions, including SSS, COMELEC, NBI, ATI, DA, PSA, and the Red Cross. Free haircut services were also provided through the efforts of PESO and the 26th Infantry Battalion, while free circumcision services were conducted by the Provincial Health Office (PHO) with the assistance of the 26th Infantry Battalion.

This initiative reflects the Provincial Government’s commitment to delivering accessible, responsive, and people-centered services, ensuring that even the farthest communities receive the support and assistance they deserve.

📌 USAD 3rd Quarter Coordination Meeting Successfully Conducted

The Upland Sustainable Agri-forestry Development (USAD) Program successfully conducted its 3rd Quarter Coordination Meeting on July 28, 2026, bringing together representatives from various National Government Agencies, including the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Department of Agriculture (DA), Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Implementing Offices, and City and Municipal Local Government Units (CMLGUs).

The meeting served as a venue for stakeholders to present updates, accomplishments, and the current status of USAD initiatives and interventions across the province. It also strengthened coordination, collaboration, and commitment among partner agencies in ensuring the effective implementation of programs and services for the benefit of Agusanons.

Through continuous partnership and shared efforts, USAD remains steadfast in its mission of uplifting communities and promoting sustainable agricultural development.

Strengthening the USAD Program through Collaboration and Strategic Direction || July 14, 2026

A productive and successful meeting was held with Dr. Efren B. Isorena, Provincial Consultant, and For. Ronulfo R. Paler, Provincial Consultant, to discuss key updates on the implementation of the Upland Sustainable Agri-Forestry Development (USAD) Program.

The meeting focused on the latest monitoring updates and the proposed USAD Ordinance, emphasizing the importance of strengthening institutional support, improving program implementation, and ensuring the long-term sustainability of the program for the benefit of upland farming communities.

Through collaborative discussions and shared expertise, the team reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing the delivery of services and achieving the goals of the USAD Program.
