The Foundation for the Development of Agusanons, Inc. (FDAI) proudly took part in the Asia-Pacific Youth-Led Summit on Ending Violence Against Children, held from April 14โ17, 2026 at Loreland Farm Resort in Antipolo City, Philippines.
The international summit, organized by the Global Youth-Led Movement on Ending Violence Against Children and founded by Bryanna Mariรฑas, gathered over 200 young leaders, advocates, and stakeholders from 23 countries across the Asia-Pacific region. The event served as a dynamic platform to strengthen youth leadership, co-create innovative solutions to prevent violence against children, and develop a unified regional agenda in preparation for the 2nd Global Ministerial Conference on Ending Violence Against Children.
Kindernothilfe (KNH) played a key leadership role as part of the Summitโs Support Team, providing technical guidance, coordination, and essential resources to ensure that the event achieved its objectives while upholding a strong youth-centered approach.
As a part of the established Support Team under KNH, FDAI actively contributed to the overall planning, coordination, and implementation of the summit. The organization helped oversee key aspects of the event, ensuring smooth operations and meaningful engagement among participants.
FDAI expresses its sincere gratitude for the opportunity to be part of such a significant international gathering. The experience not only strengthened the organizationโs commitment to child protection and youth empowerment but also reinforced the importance of collaborative action in addressing violence against children.
Moving forward, FDAI remains dedicated to advancing the rights and well-being of children and young people, and to supporting initiatives that amplify youth voices in shaping safer and more inclusive communities.
