Plant and Grow a Tree Program | Brigada Taniman 🌱
A tree planted today can provide shade, cleaner air, and a healthier environment for years to come. That is why the Plant and Grow a Tree Program – Brigada Taniman goes beyond a simple tree-planting activity. It encourages young learners to see environmental stewardship as a shared and continuing responsibility.
As representative of Mayor Jaime Mahimpit, we joined the turnover of planting materials to New Cebu Elementary School, giving both teachers and pupils the opportunity to establish and care for their own school gardens and tree planting areas. These seedlings represent more than new plants, they are a reminder that caring for the environment begins with small, consistent actions.
Our sincere appreciation to everyone who made this activity possible; Provincial Government of Cotabato headed by Gov. Emmylou Lala Taliño-Mendoza duly represented by VG Ella Taliño Taray, BM Atty Bblou Brizuela Benjamin, LGU President Roxas under the leadership of Mayor Jaime H. Mahimpit, Metro Arakan Valley Complex Administrator Sir Taya Tagitican and Dep Ed personnel and staff. Through partnerships like these, we continue to invest not only in greener school grounds but also in shaping a generation that values and protects our natural resources.
Together, let us keep planting, nurturing, and growing, for our schools, our communities, and the future.
