Magandang Umaga Pilipinas! ✨🌅

On April 17, 2026, during his program Magandang Umaga Pilipinas, broadcaster Angelo Palmones proudly congratulated Ms. Renalyn Sibal, one of PEACEKAMP’s success story.

Renalyn has made history as the first Ayta graduate from Tuloy Foundation, Inc. (Tuloy sa Don Bosco), a foundation that also runs its own DepEd-accredited school and vocational training programs for marginalized youth.

After completing her culinary training at Enderun, she is now under the mentorship of renowned Chef Sau Del Rosario. 👩‍🍳🔥

Her journey is a shining example of how education, opportunity, and perseverance can transform lives💚

Hosting Barefoot Philippines in Barangay Sapang Uwak for Roots & Routes was a powerful reminder that knowledge, skill, and care are shared gifts. From indigenous healing and bamboo cooking to firemaking, trapping, and archery, every station carried stories that ground us and guide our steps forward. Maraming salamat sa mga miyembro ng komunidad ng Sapang Uwak for your generosity in teaching us, and thank you to the Barefoot team and our volunteers for walking this path with humility and respect. Together we honor Aeta wisdom and keep building routes rooted in reciprocity, dignity, and hope.

“When children are shown what they can become, something beautiful begins to grow in them. Someday, I hope to proudly celebrate doctors, teachers, leaders, and professionals from our Aeta communities. There is hope. We just need to keep sowing seeds of kindness, inspiration, and belief, and nurture them with care and love.” — Sir Ronnel Ojas

PAAkyat sa PAAngarap in Barangay Sapang Uwak planted those seeds; introducing children to careers, sparking imagination, and opening doors to possibility. PeaceKamp is deeply moved by Barefoot’s gentle, creative approach to guiding young dreams. Thank you to the Barefoot Philippines team, volunteers, and every child who dared to imagine; we remain committed to nurturing those dreams with care, learning, and steady support.

We at PeaceKamp are deeply grateful to Barefoot Philippines and their Community Relations team for listening to and walking with the people of Barangay Sapang Uwak, Porac. Your house‑to‑house surveys and the thoughtful turnover of school supplies to Aeta children show what community‑centered partnership looks like: grounded, data‑informed, and rooted in respect. Thank you to the residents for welcoming your team, to ComRel for your dedication, and to Ma’am May Del Rosario for her generosity. Together we strengthen local voices and build lasting support for Sapang Uwak.

📝💙 Letters may seem simple, but they carry the power to change lives.

As Col Samuel Sagun, founder of PEACE KAMP Inc., shared during his WHY Day talk last October, “The pen pal project are letters that kept Ayta students in school. Many grade 12 graduates are now pursuing college.”

We are deeply moved by how Barefoot Philippines’ Pen-PAAls initiative has created lasting connections for the children of Brgy. Sapang Uwak. Through the exchange of letters, kids felt seen, heard, and supported—encouraged to stay in school and dream beyond their circumstances. ❤️

This January 21, 2026, Barefoot brought back Pen-PAAls with its first writing session, where kids shared their hobbies, favorite things, and aspirations through slambook profiles and letters. These small conversations are the beginnings of bonds that can inspire hope and courage for years to come. 🩵👣

At PeaceKamp, we celebrate these moments of connection and learning, and we thank everyone who continues to in building empowering spaces for children to dream bigger. 🌟🫂

📚✨ Learning is empowerment, and every small step counts.

Our partners at Barefoot Philippines brought PAAhanda + PAAngarap to Brgy. Sapang Uwak last Feb 8, where kids learned life skills like digital literacy, disaster preparedness, money management, hygiene, and environmental awareness through fun, interactive booths. 📱☔️🪙🪥🍃

Every step toward learning builds confidence and creates empowering spaces for children to dream bigger. 🌟🫂

At PeaceKamp, we believe that play is more than just fun, it’s a powerful way to build confidence, connection, and community.

Shoutout to our partners at Barefoot Philippines for opening up PAAlaro last April 9 in Brgy. Sapang Uwak, where kids, advocates, and the Ateneo community came together for games, laughter, and ice cream under the sun. 🍦⚽️☀️

Because every smile is a step toward empowering spaces for children to dream bigger. 🌟🫂
