Project Pag-alima begins not with a seminar, but with a community. Our team conducted a community ocular in Purok Masipag, Barangay Lumakil, Polomolok, South Cotabato, alongside the Purok Chairman and Chieftain, as we prepare for our upcoming conversation on Child, Early, and Forced Marriage and Union (CEFMU) and Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (ASRHR).

Considering the fact that meaningful change starts with showing up, understanding the community, and walking with the people, not simply speaking for them.

The conversation is coming, and this time, we begin by listening.

Project Pag-alima moves forward, carrying with it the lessons, stories, and conversations that began in our first community. This time, we bring the same commitment to another place, because every community has its own realities, every young person has a story of their own, and every voice deserves a safe space to be heard.

The location may change, but our purpose remains: to protect, to listen, to challenge stigma, and to walk alongside young people as they learn to speak for themselves.
