Lock in mode students, break is officially over—back to school na ulit bukas!. From no alarms to early mornings real quick. 🤯

In-game school moments are unlocked again—surprise quizzes, sudden deadlines, research, “I studied, I swear” moments, mental breakdowns that turn into laughter, and memories we’ll definitely look back on. It may be tiring, funny, and chaotic all at once, but this is where growth happens and stories are made.

To all students, keep going even when it feels heavy, rest when you need to but never give up, and always believe that every small step forward counts. Show up, do your best, and remember that surviving each day is already an achievement. Break is over, class is back, and the grind begins again—lock in, stay strong, and let’s make this school season worth it. 💪🏻✨

The YES-O Club participated in the Outreach Program "𝗜𝗻𝘂𝗴𝘆𝘂𝗻𝗮𝘆 𝘀𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗼 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱", spearheaded by the SSLG Silway-8 in collaboration with SK Silway-8 and together with school clubs.

This heart-touching activity reminded us that Christmas is not just about gifts, but about sharing love, hope, and kindness with others — without expecting anything in return, and to serve.

Through simple acts of giving and service, we may able to live out its mission of helping the community while promoting care for both people and the environment. May this season inspire everyone to continue doing good, serving selflessly, and keeping the spirit of compassion alive beyond the holidays. Together, we can make a difference, one kind act at a time. 💚

The community proudly came together for a Paskomunidad Symposium on Disaster Preparedness and Climate Change Mitigation, held at the Silway Otso Barangay Covered Court on December 15, 2025. The event warmly welcomed residents, leaders from RCY and BSP Clubs, guest speakers and participants for an inspiring and meaningful exchange of ideas, awareness, and shared responsibility for protecting our environment and preparing for disasters.

The event raised awareness on how we can better prepare for disasters and take action against climate change. Through informative talks and open discussions, it strengthened the connection between people and their role in building a safer, greener, and more resilient bayan. 🌏💚

The recent typhoons that hit our country left thousands of families facing rising floods and destruction. But behind these disasters is a deeper truth, it’s not just the rain we should blame, but our 𝗡𝗘𝗚𝗟𝗘𝗖𝗧 𝗢𝗙 𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘.

The mountains have faced continuous destruction because of illegal logging and deforestation activities, which have been ongoing for many years. Our communities lack protection because the trees which used to stop heavy rainfall and landslides have disappeared. 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗰𝘂𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗮 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝘆𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗱𝗱𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼𝘀.

What makes it worse is the 𝗖𝗢𝗥𝗥𝗨𝗣𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 that continues to affect flood control projects. The funds that should have protected our people are being 𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗨𝗦𝗘𝗗, leaving many to face floods with nothing but hope and prayers.

It’s time we raise our voices. The moment has arrived to start taking action. Last October 18, an incredible and memorable day it was! We are beyond grateful to all runners, families, and supporters who joined, came to run. It made our Fam Run really special 💚. Your presence, time, energy and support mean so much to us.

Also, thank you to these amazing RCY volunteers who assisted and guided everyone throughout the event!👏🏻. Your hard work and effort also made everything run smoothly — we couldn't have done it without you.

And of course, to the YES-O fam and Coordinator, ma'am Karen Kate H. Gumbao, for the unwavering support that made this event extra special. 🌿

RUN FOR GREEN: YES-O Fam Run for the Environment 🌿

Get ready to lace up and bring your family for an exciting and meaningful event—FAM RUN! 🤩, with the theme: "Family Unity for a Greener Community."

EVENT GUIDELINES
🗓️ Date: October 18, 2025
🕢 Time: 5:30 AM
📍 Venue: Silway-8 National High School Grounds

Registration:
- Open to all students of Silway-8 NHS and external stakeholders
- Each Team is composed of two (2) parents/guardian and one (1) student or one (1) parent/guardian and two (2) students (siblings) of Silway-8 NHS
- Each member of the team must be registered individually.
- Tickets are available at YES-O Club

Rules:
- Participants must wear comfortable sports attire or comfortable t-shirt
- Families must start and finish together as a team
- Any team member left behind or separated will lead to disqualification.
- Children must be accompanied by their parents at all times during the race.

Route and Stations:
Station 1: Elementary Tricycle Terminal
Station 2: Before the Bridge
Station 3: CVO Outpost/
Turning Point
Station 4: Purok Mabuhay Basketball Court
Station 5: School Gate

Each station will be giving a designated colored ribbon

Pre-Run:
10 minutes Zumba
Orientation & Briefing

Post-Run:
- FREE Arroz Caldo will be served
- Certificates of Participation will be given to the Top 10 Family Finishers
- Awarding Ceremony will follow immediately after the Fam Run

Today, in celebration of 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, with the theme: "Mapayapang bukas, Abot kamay sa bagong Pilipinas", the 𝟒𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 was held at Maquidato farm, Prk. Mabuhay, Silway-8 Polomolok, South Cotabato. It is a beautiful reminder that peace and a greener future go hand in hand. 🌱🕊️

In collaboration with Kalinaw Club and Yes-O Club, and joined by other school clubs, student volunteers, workers, and Club Coordinators. This activity brought us together with one goal—to plant not only trees, but also hope for the next generation. Each tree we planted is a sign of peace, life and the strong connection between people and nature.

When we work together, we create real change. Thank you to everyone who joined and supported this meaningful event for a cleaner, safer, and more peaceful community. 🌍🍂

Since 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 1, 2025, 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (YES-O) has been conducting a 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻-𝘂𝗽 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆. Students who arrive late every Monday during the Flag Raising Ceremony are tasked to join the weekly clean-up drive🧹🍃

This initiative is not just a “punishment”, but also a meaningful way to 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝘂𝗹𝗲𝘀, 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲. At the same time, it gives students the chance to contribute to keeping our school cleaner, greener, and healthier🌏💚
