To discuss and finalize budgetary requirements for the upcoming F'lomlok Festival 2026, the members of the Core Group gathered for a consultative meeting, DILG Mini Conference Room, August 4, 2026.

The group reviewed the operational plans, updated the committees that have been approved and given signal to procure materials and discussed logistical concerns while Municipal Administrator Alan M. Ines reminded of Mayor Bernie D. Palencia's vision of the festival.

Festival Director Dr. Joven Ryan G. Malida directed the core to track the progress of the program holders which supports Municipal Budget Office (MBO) Head Ms. Beverly T. Perdido's plea to finalize the plans within this week to ensure the purchase orders of the resources needed.

After the approval of Mayor Bernie D. Palencia last July 16 for the GNET Group of Companies endorsement of second Jollibee Store in the municipality, the Jollibee Human Resource Team conducted an interview and examination for applicants, at Public Employment Services Office (PESO).

More than 200 applicants have participated in the two-day Local Recruitment Activity (August 3-4) facilitated by the Polomolok PESO personnel.

The Human Resource Officer, Restaurant Manager, and Assistant Restaurant Manager of Jollibee initiated the final interview and screened the credentials submitted.

Delivering the Bagong Polomolok mission of providing services to the people through the Barangay Affairs Unit (BAU), the 746 beneficiaries screened by the Barangay Affairs Unit of Polomolok LGU claimed their Walang Gutom Program (WGP) food assistance for the month of July, Polomolok Municipal Gymnasium, Auqust 3, 2026

With the materials required by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), the claimants underwent verification before the food redemption.

84% or 628 received their
UPLIFT Assistance Program (Unified Package for Livelihoods, Industry, Food, and Transport) cash assistance.

Aligning with Mayor Bernie D. Palencia's advocacy for disaster victims, the Local Government Unit of Santa Rita, Pampanga under Mayor Reynan S. Calo, turned-over their assistance to earthquake-affected people of Mindanao during the morning assembly, August 3, 2026.

Santa Rita LGU Municipal Administrator Mr. Earl Tongol brought the 77 kilogram worth of donations and goods including basic necessities, blankets, and toiletries.

Referring to their experience of Mt. Pinatubo eruption, he expressed how he knew the struggle of the victims as he mentioned the one-month salary offered by Mayor Calo as additional donation.
