Phase 2: Strategic Partnerships & Grant Mobilization

Target: PhP15M

Here’s the restructured Call to Action with explicit conditional language and approval disclaimers integrated throughout (changes in bold):

PROPOSAL SUBJECT TO APPROVAL
This initiative is contingent upon formal endorsement by the Jovenmarlo Adap Imperio Foundation Inc. and the Maristela Family. All plans, timelines, and commitments below are proposed pending final review and authorization.

CALL TO ACTION: Support the Proposed Establishment of Camp Joseph Bates Bible College in Masbate
Empowering Faith, Education, and Community in Sitio Pacil, Barangay Pawa

A Vision Rooted in Legacy (Pending Approval)
The Jovenmarlo Adap Imperio Foundation Inc., in partnership with the Maristela Family of Masbate, proposes a groundbreaking initiative: the establishment of Camp Joseph Bates Bible College on a 2.5-hectare property generously offered by the Maristela Family in Sitio Pacil, Barangay Pawa. This project, pending final approval, honors the legacy of Joseph Bates—co-founder of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and advocate for education, spiritual growth, and social justice—while addressing the urgent need for accessible faith-based education in rural Masbate.

Why Support This Initiative?

1. Proposed Transformative Education for Rural Communities
Masbate, a province with limited educational infrastructure, could gain its first Bible college dedicated to training future spiritual leaders, teachers, and community advocates. Pending approvals, programs would combine theological studies with practical skills (e.g., sustainable agriculture, healthcare basics) to empower students to uplift their communities.
2. A Conditional Partnership Anchored in Generosity
The Maristela Family, represented by Castor "Boy" and Mercury "Inday" Maristela, has conditionally offered land for this project, contingent on final authorization by all stakeholders. Their proposed commitment reflects a shared vision to create a lasting legacy of hope and service.
3. Honoring Joseph Bates’ Legacy
If approved, the college will embody Bates’ principles:

- Sabbath-centered worship and moral integrity.
- Health and wellness programs (plant-based nutrition, substance abuse prevention).
- Social justice advocacy, inspired by Bates’ abolitionist work.

How You Can Help

1. Pledge Financial Contributions (Subject to Project Approval)

- Fund infrastructure: Classrooms, dormitories, and a multi-purpose hall upon project confirmation.
- Sponsor scholarships for low-income students if the college is established.

Daily Devotional
I Will Love as Christ Loved
March 17, 2019
Exercising Self-control

By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. John 13:35

If we would be true lights in the world, we must manifest the loving, compassionate spirit of Christ. To love as Christ loved means that we must practice self-control. It means that we must show unselfishness at all times and in all places. It means that we must scatter round us kind words and pleasant looks. These cost the giver nothing, but they leave behind a precious fragrance. Their influence for good cannot be estimated. Not only to the receiver, but to the giver, they are a blessing; for they react upon him. Genuine love is a precious attribute of heavenly origin, which increases in fragrance in proportion as it is dispensed to others....
God desires His children to remember that in order to glorify Him, they must bestow their affection on those who need it most. None with whom we come in contact are to be neglected. No selfishness in look, word, or deed is to be manifested to our fellow beings, whatever their position, whether they be high or low, rich or poor. The love that gives kind words to only a few, while others are treated with coldness and indifference, is not love, but selfishness. It will not in any way work for the good of souls or the glory of God. We are not to confine our love to one or two objects.
Those who gather the sunshine of Christ’s righteousness, and refuse to let it shine into the lives of others, will soon lose the sweet, bright rays of heavenly grace, selfishly reserved to be lavished upon a few.... Self should not be allowed to gather to itself a select few, giving nothing to those who need help the most. Our love is not to be sealed up for special ones. Break the bottle, and the fragrance will fill the house. “My Life Today” 80
