Distribution of Community Letters

To keep the barangay officials well-informed and prepared, community letters were successfully delivered on April 21, 2026 to Brgy. Alugan, Japunan, Pang-pang, and Tan-awan, San Policarpo, Eastern Samar.

The letters were personally delivered by Joel Dacles together with the Municipal Coordinating Team (MCTs) to formally notify barangay officials about the upcoming Barangay Development Council (BDC) Meeting schedules.

This initiative ensures that barangay leaders are properly guided and ready to participate in the upcoming activities, strengthening coordination and active community involvement.

Joint Inspection of Amenities for Daycare Center

On April 22, a Joint Inspection of Amenities for Daycare Center was conducted at Brgy. Bahay, Pob. 1, and Pob. 3, San Policarpo, Eastern Samar under the Philippine Multi-sectoral Nutrition Project Unutilized Fund (PMNP UF) implemented by Community Nutrition Sub-project Management Committee (CNSPMC), Community, and BLGU.

The activity aimed to check and verify that the delivered items were correct and fully functioning, ensuring that daycare centers are properly equipped to support children's learning and development.

Present during the inspection were Barangay Officials, Daycare Workers, the Municipal Engineering Office represented by Engr. Jessica Dulfo (Engr. I), representatives from the Municipal Planning and Development Office (MPDO) and Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), as well as the Area Coordinating Team (ACT) and Municipal Coordinating Team (MCT) of KALAHI CIDSS San Policarpo, who actively participated in confirming the condition and usability of the amenities.

The successful completion of the joint inspection confirmed that the delivered amenities met the required specifications and are ready for use, supporting improved daycare services within the community.

Barangay Development Council (BDC) Meeting and Community Profiling

Residents and local leaders from Brgy. Bangon and Brgy. Sta. Cruz, San Policarpo, Eastern Samar actively participated in the Barangay Development Council (BDC) Meeting and Community Profiling held on April 21 through the initiative of KALAHI CIDSS.

During the activity, the new modality of KALAHI CIDSS, known as the Philippine Community Resilience Project (PCRP), was formally introduced to the community. Community profiling was also carried out to collect important data that will serve as a baseline for planning future programs and development initiatives.

The activity was attended by Barangay Officials, Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS), Barangay Health Workers (BHW), along with the Area Coordinating Team (ACT) and Municipal Coordinating Team (MCT) of KALAHI CIDSS San Policarpo, whose participation contributed to meaningful discussions and information gathering.
This activity marked an important step in strengthening community involvement and promoting preparedness for programs that aim to build safer, more resilient barangays.

Barangay Development Council (BDC) Meeting and Community Profiling

On April 23, a Barangay Development Council (BDC) Meeting and Community Profiling was conducted at Brgy. Baras and Brgy. Binogawan, San Policarpo, Eastern Samar, organized by KALAHI CIDSS.

The activity aimed to introduce the new modality of KALAHI CIDSS, which is the Philippine Community Resilience Project (PCRP), and to gather essential community data through profiling to support future development planning and implementation.

Present during the activity were Barangay Officials, Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS), Barangay Health Workers (BHW), as well as the Area Coordinating Team (ACT) and Municipal Coordinating Team (MCT) of KALAHI CIDSS San Policarpo, who actively participated in the discussion and profiling activities.

The successful conduct of the meeting strengthened community awareness and participation, supporting collaborative planning and resilience-building initiatives in the barangays.
