Last August 10, 2026, the TLEADERSโ LEAGUE of Bicol University Polangui successfully held its 2nd General Assembly at the BU Polangui Dormstel, gathering 64 active members for an afternoon of meaningful discussions, organizational accountability, and democratic participation.
The assembly was presided over by President Jayson C. Ortega, who called the meeting to order at 1:30 PM after the establishment of a quorum. The proceedings began with an opening prayer led by Auditor Shiela Mae Basilla, followed by the Philippine National Anthem through an Audio-Visual Presentation.
One of the major highlights was the presentation and sponsorship of the Proposed Revised Constitution and By-Laws of the TLEADERSโ LEAGUE. The discussion emphasized that the Constitution is more than a set of rules, it serves as the foundation for responsible leadership, membersโ rights, transparency, accountability, representation, and democratic participation.
At its heart is a principle that reminds us:
โSovereignty resides in the members of the organization.โ
The assembly also featured the presentation of the Accomplishment Report for Academic Year 2025โ2026, highlighting the programs, activities, and accomplishments of the organization throughout the First and Second Semesters.
The gathering culminated in the Election of the New Set of Officers, where Nhadja Lhene Bragais was elected and proclaimed as the Elected President of the TLEADERSโ LEAGUE by the Presiding Officer, Jayson C. Ortega.
At 4:16 PM, the assembly was formally adjourned sine die, closing one chapter while opening another for the organization.
The TLEADERSโ LEAGUE extends its sincere appreciation to all 64 members who participated in the General Assembly, as well as to our Organization Advisers, Sir Jhonny Pet Topasi and Sir Ricardo S. Belbes Jr., for their continued guidance and support.
The General Assembly was more than a meeting, it was a space where members participated, deliberated, exercised their voice, and helped shape the future of the organization.
